In the present invention, an image capturing condition measurement unit measures image capturing conditions used when an object image is captured based on radiation that has passed through an object and calculates an added value based on the image capturing conditions. An X-ray signal reading unit generates image data containing the object image based on the radiation that has passed through the object. An offset correction unit performs an offset correction of the image data with using correction image data containing a dark current component and then performs an offset correction of the image data with using the added value.

A methanol oxidation catalyst comprises a material of composition: Pt x M z Ta u in which Pt is platinum, Ta is tantalum, M is an element includes at least one selected from the group consisting of V (vanadium), W (tungsten), Ni (nickel) and Mo (molybdenum), x is 40 to 98 at.%, z is 1.5 to 55 at.%, and u is 0.5 to 40 at.%. To maximize catalytic activity the material is preferably in the form of nanoparticles. The values of x, z and u are selected such that the element exhibits X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy peaks derived from an oxygen bond and a metal bond in which a peak area derived from the oxygen bond is twice or less of a peak area derived from the metal bond.

An antithrombotic agent containing as the active ingredient a monoclonal antibody that is reactive with human Von Willebrand factor, inhibits human RIPA (ristocetin-induced platelet aggregation), BIPA (bottrocetin-induced platelet aggregation), and SIPA (stress-induced platelet aggregation), and does not cause bleeding even when it is administered in a quantity efficacious in exhibiting the antithrombotic effect.

The present invention enables easy formation of rerouting patterns even when the electrode terminals are arranged at fine intervals.

Abstract:
A peptide is obtained from a venom derived from Vipera palestina by screening various venoms for peptides that inhibit the binding of Von Willebrand factors with platelets even in a low concentration thereof and do not cause platelet aggregation. The obtained peptide has two differrent peptide chains and its molecular weight as determined by SDS polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis is about 25 kD and about 15 kD, respectively, under nonreducing and reducing conditions.

A front structure for a vehicle comprises a power unit (7) mounted at a front end of the vehicle, a steering gear box (12) provided in front of or behind the power unit in the vehicle, and a suspension member (4) supporting the steering gear box, the steering gear box (12) being situated at a bottom surface of the suspension member (4) so as to move beneath the power unit when the front end of the vehicle is deformed due to a frontal collision. A peptide which does not cause substantial thrombocytopenia at the minimum dose at which the peptide exhibits in vivo the activity of inhibiting the binding of von Willebrand factors with platelets is obtained by reacting an oligopeptide derived from a venom having the above activity with a protein modifier and glutathione and/or cysteine to thereby break the disulfide bonds between the peptide chains constituting the oligopeptide while substantially preserving the disulfide bonds within the peptide chains intact. The above peptide, its variant or a part thereof is produced by the genetic engineering technique using genes that code for the same.

The purpose of the present invention is to readily and accurately perform tasks for setting up a multifunction peripheral in a factory automation (FA) network system. A setup assistance system (100) is provided with a FA network system (10) to which a multifunction peripheral (30) configured by combining a basic machine (60) and an additional machine (70) and a PLC (40) for controlling the multifunction peripheral (30) are connected via a network (50), and an assistance device (20) for assisting setup of the multifunction peripheral (30). The basic machine (60) and the additional machine (70) each store own profile information to themselves, and, when a request is received from the assistance device (20), the basic machine (60) reads out the profile information from the additional machine (70) and transmits the same to the assistance device (20) in combination with its own profile information. The assistance device (20) generates a setup screen for the multifunction peripheral (30) on the basis of the profile information acquired from the basic machine (60).
