Abstract:
A radio communication system includes a mobile terminal device to which a memory card is attached and a server device. The server device and the memory card transfer information to each other through the mobile terminal device by radio communication. This is achieved in the following manner. When receiving a start request from the server device, the mobile terminal device supplies power to the memory card. Furthermore, the mobile terminal device communicates with the server device, to prepare for information transfer to be performed between the server device and the memory card. After becoming able to operate, the memory card performs a boot operation. When completing the boot operation, the memory card starts information transfer with the server device through the mobile terminal device.
Abstract:
A reservation changing system provides diverse services. A memory card 200 obtains, via a mobile telephone 400, a distance from a present location to a boarding station for a train for which a reservation has been made, and judges whether to perform a train reservation change search depending on the relationship between the obtained distance and a time remaining until a departure time of the train. When it is judged that a reservation change search is to be performed, the memory card 200 obtains an expected arrival time at the station from a timetable server apparatus 500, compares the obtained expected arrival time with the departure time, and when a time margin between the two times is insufficient, the memory card 200 instructs a reservation center apparatus 300, via the mobile telephone 400, to change the reservation, and receives and stores reservation information.
Abstract:
A 1 DVD-RMA4 on which contents, which are digital copyrighted works, wherein one or more first contents and a first list information (music list) showing a list of said one or more first contents (for example, CPRM and CPS2) are recorded by a first recording method, one or more second contents and a second list information (music list) showing a list of said one or more second contents are recorded by a second recording method (for example, non-CP), and a common list information (master music list) showing a list of contents including the contents indicated in the first list information and the contents indicated in the second list information are recorded.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a group admission system (1) having a client (200e-200g) and a server (100a-100d) that belongs to a closed group within which contents are available. The client (200e-200g) determines whether it is permissible to request to join the group to be a member device thereof based on the number of groups that the client (200e-200g) is permitted to be in. If permissible, the client (200e-200g) transmits a registration request to the server (100a-100d) with information unique to the client (200e-200g). The server (100a-100d) determines whether to permit the client (200e-200g) to join the group by registering with the server (100a-100d) based on the number of member devices registered with the server (100a-100d) and the maximum number of member devices registerable with the server (100a-100d). If it is permitted, the server (100a-100d) registers the unique information, and transmits group identification information to the client (200e-200g). The client receives and stores the group identification information.
Abstract:
There is provided such a recording/reproduction device that when a content subjected to image conversion is moved to another device and re-moved to the original recording/reproduction device from the moving destination, the content before the image conversion can be used. The recording/reproduction device includes: a first encrypted content generated by encrypting a content, a second encrypted content generated by subjecting the content to image conversion and encrypting it, storage means for storing a content key used for decryption of them, key moving means for recording the content key in an external recording medium and deleting the content key stored in the storage means, and content moving means used after the content key is deleted, for recording the second encrypted content in the recording medium and deleting it from the storage means.
Abstract:
An information security apparatus that manages information in a safe and reliable manner based on a complexity of an inverse operation on a set of integers that satisfy a condition. The information security apparatus comprises a private key generating unit operable to generate a private key, a parameter receiving unit operable to receive parameters which respectively determine conditions, and a public key generating unit operable to generate, with use of the private key, public keys from sets of integers that satisfy the conditions determined by the parameters.
Abstract:
A key distribution system distributes key data for using content to a second encryption device that has been legitimately outsourced processing by a first encryption device. The first encryption device acquires permission information indicating that the first encryption device has permission to use the content, generates certification information by making an irreversible alteration the to permission information, and transmits the permission information and the certification information to the second encryption device. The second encryption device receives the permission information and the certification information, sends them to a key distribution device, and acquires the key data from the key distribution device. The key distribution device receives the permission information and the certification information, judges whether or not the certification information was generated by the by the first encryption device, and if judging in the affirmative, transmits the key data to the second encryption device.
Abstract:
This invention provides a license information management apparatus and the like that do not require a tamper resistance module with a large memory even in the case where a user possesses a large amount of content. A total control unit (113) specifies a content corresponding to a reproduction instruction received from a user (S202). Further, the total control unit (113) verifies whether or not there is a LT corresponding to the specified content in a secure flash unit (120). In the case where there is the LT in the secure flash unit (120) (S203: Yes) and information concerning the reproduction of the content is received from the content decryption unit (520) (S204: Yes), an encryption/decryption unit (114) decrypts the LT stored in the secure flash unit (120) using a TRM unique key (S205). After that, the encryption/decryption unit (114) updates details of the content reproduction condition information (511a), encrypts the updated details using the TRM unique key, and writes the encrypted TRM unique key into the secure flash unit (120) (S208).
Abstract:
A digital camera comprising: an imaging unit operable to generate an image by photographing an object; a receiving unit operable to receive information relating to image processing from one or more transmission devices; a judging unit operable to judge whether the image is to be output or not, based on the information received by the receiving unit; and an output unit operable to, in accordance with the judgment made by the judging unit, output the image to a memory, or discard the image, where the memory is readable by the digital camera or an external device.
