Abstract:
A grinding wheel comprising a cylindrical hub (22) of a desired material having a first band (28, 36) of yield able material on its outer circumferential surface, and a second band (32) of abrasive material on the outer circumferential surface of the first band. The first band of yield able material can be flexible or semi-flexible and provides support for the second band. An adhesive (26) can be used to avoid relative motion between the hub and the first belt, and between the first and second belts.

The present invention also provides for pharmaceutical compositions and combinations comprising a compound of formula (I) as well as for the use of such compounds as tankyrase inhibitors and in the treatment of Wnt signaling and tankyrase 1 and 2 signaling related disorders which include, but are not limited to, cancer.
Abstract:
A subsurface safety valve features vertically stacked springs that are each independently supported in the valve housing and each having an opposite end that bears on a shoulder connected to the flow tube. When mounted this way their applied force is additive as they are in effect mounted in parallel between the housing and the flow tube for overcoming hydrostatic pressure in deep set applications that can exceed 20,000 feet. The stacking also allows the cross-sectional area of the flow tube to be maximized for a given housing outside diameter dictated by well conditions.
Abstract:
A system is provided for switching between redundant control systems for a subsurface safety valve (SSV) while being able to isolate the closure spring from hydrostatic pressure in the control line of the system that is not being used. There are two control lines that connect to discrete operating pistons that are both coupled to the flow tube. Each operating piston is connected to a control rod with the control rods terminating near opposed ends of a pivoting member. Pushing down on one rod pushes up on the other rod so that the other rod is held supported and the hydrostatic pressure in its associated control line doesn't affect the force needed by the closure spring to close the SSV. Releasing control line pressure puts the system in neutral to allow either of the systems to be reselected.
Abstract:
A threat propagation estimator generates threat propagation estimates for a region based on a combination of sensor data (z) and model-based threat propagation estimates. The threat propagation estimator receives sensor data (z) from one or more sensor devices, and employs threat propagation model (M) to generate a model-based threat propagation estimate. A threat propagation algorithm (20) is used to combine the sensor data (z) and the model-based threat propagation estimate to generate a threat propagation estimate (Jc ).

Abstract:
A unit (100), system, and method for disinfecting or sterilizing the entire surface area of an item (106). The system includes at least one ultraviolet light source (302) producing ultraviolet light for disinfecting the item (106). In addition, the system including a cavity housing the ultraviolet light source (302), the cavity (108) having a reflective interior (1, m, t, z, m, and/or b) for redirecting light produced by the at least one ultraviolet light source (302). Furthermore, the system including a shelf (104) positioned above a bottom portion of the cavity (108) to support the item, the shelf (104) capable of passing light produced by the at least one ultraviolet light source (302) therethrough to disinfect an entire surface area of the item (106).
