Abstract:
Systems and methods may provide for identifying a workload cycle for a computing platform, wherein the workload cycle is to include a busy duration and an idle duration. Additionally, platform energy consumption information may be determined for the workload cycle, and a frequency setting may be selected for the busy duration based at least in part on the platform energy consumption information.

Abstract:
A system includes an exercise machine and a computing device coupled to the exercise machine. The computing device presents a metrics bar within a graphical user interface in an initial state, detects a start of a first workout experience by a user on the exercise machine, retrieve a first set of metrics from stored user preferences data based on a workout experience type, workout type, and exercise machine type of the first workout experience, and displays the first set of metrics in a display area of the metrics bar during the first workout experience. The computing device detects a start of a second workout experience, determines a second set of metrics from the stored user preferences data based on a workout experience type, workout type, and exercise machine type of the second workout experience, and displays the second set of metrics in the metrics bar during the second workout experience.

Abstract:
Stationary wireless network stations are woken up using Wake-on- WLAN functionality. Wake -on- WLAN is provided by paging stations in a wireless network. Paging may support mobile stations across multiple access points. Paging may also support stationary nodes with reduced overhead. Wake-on- WLAN is also provided to stationary stations in idle mode by signifying a wake-on event in a traffic indication map (TIM). Wake-on events may occur when a station is associated or disassociated with an access point. Upon receiving a wake-on event, a station associates or reassociates with an AP if necessary.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide methods and apparatus for a protected paging indication mechanism within wireless networks including multiple access points. Other embodiments may be described and claimed.

Abstract:
Compounds of formula III which are active on protein kinases are described, as well as methods of using such compounds to treat diseases and conditions associated with aberrant activity of protein kinases.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to certain substituted N-phenyl-piperazine derivatives of Formula: (I) that are modulators of the 5HT 2c receptor. Accordingly, compounds of the present invention are useful for the prophylaxis or treatment of 5HT 2c receptor associated diseases or disorders, such as, obesity, Alzheimer Disease, erectile dysfunction and related disorders.
Abstract:
Methods and devices are disclosed for communicating in a wireless network using multi-protocol label switching (MPLS). A network service node is configured to send identical packets substantially simultaneously to each of a serving network access station and one or more target network access stations via two or more respective MPLS tunnels in response to a handoff trigger message. Additional embodiments and variations are also disclosed.
