The intra-oral X-ray imaging device for detecting X-rays from outside an oral cavity of the present invention, comprises: a frame; an X-ray radiating unit, installed onto and supported by the frame, and which emits X-rays through an X-ray radiating passage formed at a side of a portion for insertion into the oral cavity; and an X-ray detecting unit (Detector), placed on the frame such that it is spaced apart from the X-ray radiating unit, and which is mobile such that the spacing is adjustable. As described above, the intra-oral X-ray imaging device and method therefor, according to the present invention, provide images of superior quality by eliminating ghost images, which can cause imaging diagnosis confusion, because X-ray is provided at a low dose since the X-ray radiating unit is situated inside the oral cavity. In addition, accurate images without distortion can be obtained and the probability of obtaining an accurate image from each portion of a tooth is raised because the distance between the X-ray radiating unit and the X-ray Detector is minimized.

The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating inflammatory diseases, containing 2-[2-chloro-6-(3-iodobenzyl)-furyn-9-yl]-tetrahydro-thiophene-3,4-diol (LJ-1888) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient. The pharmaceutical composition according to the present invention has a remarkably low toxicity compared with a known A3 adenosine receptor agonist or antagonist, and is thus useful for preventing and treating inflammatory diseases.

The present invention ensures the mass production of switching devices (e.g., memristor) by use of nanoparticles that exhibits reversible switching behavior at current of less than mA and at room temperature (25°C) ? 250°C in a more convenient and economical manner. Predictions of the high potential of memristors based on nanoparticle assemblies are supported by the tremendous versatility to tune the electrical behavior of nanoparticles by controlling their nanoscale characteristics such as size, composition, dimension, surface area, and chemical potential.
