Abstract: A method of providing in vivo navigation of a medical device includes: receiving input medical imaging data of a patient's anatomy; receiving input non optical in vivo image data from a sensor on a distal end of the device in the anatomy; using a trained model to locate the distal end in the input imaging data, wherein: the model is trained, based on (i) training medical imaging data and training non-optical in vivo image data of one or more individuals' anatomy and (ii) registration data associating the training image data with locations in the training imaging data as ground truth, to learn associations between the training image data and the training imaging data; determining an output location of the medical device using the learned associations and the input data; modifying the input imaging data to depict the determined location; and causing a display to output the modified input imaging data.

Abstract: Various embodiments are generally directed to positioning techniques to facilitate entry of a flexible elongate member (e.g., endoscopic accessory tool) into and/or through selected anatomies, such as by directing a set of positional controls based on feedback from a set of transducers to achieve or maintain a position within a body lumen, for instance. Some embodiments are particularly directed to a feedback loop for positioning or guiding a flexible elongate member into a target configuration for one or more of inspection, orientation, and/or facilitating access to body passageways. In one embodiment, for example, a device manager may include circuitry to operate at least one positional control in a set of positional controls based on data indicative of a current configuration of a flexible elongate member generated by a set of transducers.

Abstract: A system for delivering an implantable medical device includes a handle housing. An outer sheath is coupler secured to a proximal end of an outer sheath that is configured to cover at least a portion of the implantable medical device. An outer sheath drive assembly is operably coupled to the outer sheath coupler and is configured to translate the outer sheath relative to the handle housing. An actuation shaft coupler is secured to a proximal end of an activation shaft. An actuation shaft drive assembly is operably coupled to the actuation shaft coupler and is configured to cause the actuation shaft to translate relative to the handle housing and shift the implantable medical device from a first position and a second position in which the implantable medical device is radially expanded relative to the first position.

Abstract: A sensor assembly includes a multilayer circuit, a first magnetic field sensor, and a second magnetic field sensor. The multilayer circuit extends between a proximal end and a distal end along a longitudinal axis. The multilayer circuit includes a plurality of electrical pads positioned at the proximal end. The first magnetic field sensor is coupled to the multilayer circuit and has a primary sensing direction aligned with the longitudinal axis. The second magnetic field sensor is coupled to the multilayer circuit and oriented with respect to the first magnetic field sensor such that the second magnetic field sensor has a primary sensing direction aligned with an axis orthogonal to the longitudinal axis.

An example system for delivering an implantable medical device includes a handle member including a seal assembly, wherein the seal assembly includes a turnbuckle assembly including a stationary member and a cap coupled to the stationary member. Further, the stationary member is coupled to an inner member and the cap is coupled to an exoskeleton disposed along an outer surface of the inner member. Additionally, the cap is designed to shift relative to the stationary member such that the exoskeleton is put in compression.
