Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods for transvascular ablation of target issue. The devices and methods may, in some examples, be used for splachnic nerve ablation to increase splanchnic venous blood capacitance to treat at least one of heart failure and hypertension. For example, the devices disclosed herein may be advanced endovascularly to a target vessel in the region of a thoracic splachnic nerve (TSN), such as a greater splachnic nerve (GSN), or a TSN nerve root. Also disclosed are methods of treating heart failure, such as HFpEF, by endovascularly ablating a thoracic splachnic nerve to increase venous capacitance and reduce pulmonary blood pressure.

The handle includes an inner body (120) and an outer body (112) disposed over the inner body. The outer body is movable relative to the inner body. The handle includes a first actuator (130) secured to the tool. The first actuator has an actuated state permitting movement of the tool relative to the sheath in response to moving the outer body relative to the inner body. The handle includes a second actuator (140) secured to the sheath. The second actuator has an actuated state permitting movement of the sheath relative to the tool in response to moving the second actuator relative to the outer body. Abstract: A method of manufacturing a catheter tip by electroplating a conductive material over an insert comprising a negative to a domelike shape thereby forming a shape of the catheter tip comprising a dome with the domelike shape, selectively positioning a plurality of irrigation holes between outer and inner surfaces of the catheter tip, removing the insert thereby leaving the catheter tip and the plurality of irrigation holes, and electropolishing the catheter tip. In other examples, the insert is not removed and instead the step of electroplating causes the insert to be encapsulated with the conductive material thereby forming the catheter tip.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of delivering tumor treating electric fields to a body of a patient. The method includes scanning the body of the patient for identifying at least two tumor-filled areas. The method further includes determining a spatial relationship in between the at least two tumor-filled areas. The method further includes arranging an array of insulated electrode elements on the body of the patient. The method further includes implementing at least two subarray firing configurations for the array of insulated electrode elements to treat the at least two tumor-filled areas depending at least in part upon the spatial relationship in between the at least two tumor-filled areas such that each subarray firing configuration treats a respective tumor-filled area. The present invention further relates to a method of configuring a tumor treating field apparatus and a tumor treating field apparatus comprising an array of insulated electrode elements coupled to a control device.
