Abstract:
A toy with developing skills, the toy including a fanciful figure (122, 124, 126) having a capacity to perform an action, and action control circuitry operative to control the fanciful figure to perform the action at different levels of skill at different times.
Abstract:
Apparatus for a wireless computer controlled toy system is disclosed, the apparatus including a computer system operative to transmit a first transmission via a first wireless transmitter and at least one toy including a first wireless receiver, the toy receiving the first transmission via the first wireless receiver and operative to carry out at least one action based on said first transmission. A method for controlling the toy system is also disclosed. 00000
Abstract:
The present invention relates to mobilization of stem cells. In particular, the present invention relates to growth factor-induced mobilization of stem cells in vivo for collection or tissue repair.
Abstract:
The present invention is of a system, which features bi-directional communication for measuring and transferring medical data and for communication with medical personnel. The apparatus is preferably integrated with at least one of, but more preferably both, audio and video conferencing between an external (home and office) subject and a medical service center. The invention is particularly useful for subjects having some type of medical risk who wish to be supervised by a medical service center, as well as supervision for emergency situations.
Abstract:
A plurality of individual toys (20, 22), at least a first one (20) of which generates acoustic signals (24) and at least a second one (22) of which receives acoustic signals. When the second toy (22) receives acoustic signals from the first toy (20), it responds (26, 28), for example, by generating a sound and/or controlling its motion. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the toys flock and/or form a procession of toys which follow a leader toy, for example a mother goose and a plurality of following and preferably quacking goslings.
Abstract:
A reader device for identifying a label associated with a section of a printed publication and presenting first information adjusted for the section. The device comprises a sensing unit for reading a unique machine-readable representation of the first information from the label, a voice recognition unit for intercepting a voice message having a related audio signature associated with second information, a processing unit for identifying the first information according to the representation and the second information according to the related audio signature, and a presentation unit configured for presenting the first and second information.
Abstract:
A medical information and support system that allows user's to gain access to their medical information on a mobile device terminal that interfaces to an application and server system through a wireless network. The mobile device may also interface to medical measurement systems to obtain vital and/or physiological measurements of the user. They system can trigger alarms if the physiological measurements are of concern. In addition, the mobile device can be used to provide instructions to a user to perform certain medical actions such as taking medication, as well as identifying the dosages and types of medication. The user can update the medical information utilizing the mobile device or through a web interface to the application and server system. In addition, health care entities may also access and/or modify the medical information through a web interface to the application and server system
Abstract:
A ceiling mountable inner unit for an air-conditioning system for conditioning air within a plurality of rooms; The ceiling mountable inner unit for mounting on ceiling and for coupling to external unit comprising: air inlets supplied with heat-exchange grids for conditioning air; pumping system for pumping air into ceiling mountable inner unit and plurality of air outlets having conduits attachable thereto for piping conditioned air to the rooms; Such that for cooling air within rooms, heat is extracted from heat-exchange grids, pumped to external air-conditioning unit and dissipated to surroundings; for heating air within rooms, heat-exchange grids are heated by extracting heat from surroundings and pumping heat to ceiling mountable inner unit; wherein air pumping means comprises plurality of small radius fans, each associated with separate outlet from said plurality of outlets; the air-conditioning comprises heating / cooling air pumped through the ceiling mountable inner unit.
Abstract:
The interactive authentication system allows a consumer to interact with a base station, such as broadcast media (11) or PC (14), to receive coupons, special sales offers, and other information with an electronic card (10). The electronic card (10) can also be used to transmit signal that can be received by the base station to perform a wide variety of tasks. These tasks can include launching an application, authenticating a user at a website, and completing a sales transaction at a website (e.g., by filling out a form automatically). The interaction between the base station and the electronic card is accomplished by using the conventional sound system in the base station so that a special reader hardware need not be installed to interact with the electronic card. The user is equipped with an electronic card that can receive and transmit data via sound waves. In the various embodiments, the sound wave can be audible or ultrasonic (which can be slightly audible to some groups of people).
