Abstract:
Systems, methods, and a user interface for automatically scheduling a media play is disclosed. The user can specify criteria for play of the media play, including times, stations, and/or external criteria such as a weather condition or the occurrence of an event. Information relevant to the entered criteria is received and assessed against the criteria to determine if the criteria are met. Responsive to the received information meeting the criteria for play of the media play, an accessor accesses the media play inventory and inserts the media play into a media feed.
Abstract:
Systems, methods, and a user interface for automatically scheduling a media play are disclosed. The user can specify, via the user interface, a strategy for how missed plays are made good. A play verifier reports which scheduled advertisements failed to play on a periodic basis or real time basis. Advertising campaign managers receive notification of play failures and determine the remedial action to take according to the criteria selected by the user for how to compensate for missed plays.
Abstract:
A media play traffic system is disclosed. The media play traffic system includes at least one hub at least partially remote from at least two media play points, and a normalizer associated with the hub, wherein said normalizer normalizes data inputs for the at least two media play points, wherein the normalization enables importation of a media play list to, and subsequent media play of the imported media play list from, each of the media play points.
Abstract:
A system for optimizing play of media content, and a method of optimizing play of media content are disclosed. The system for optimizing play of media content includes a hub that is at least partially remote from a media content play point, for accessing and instructing a forwarding of the media content for play, at least one output associated with the hub that contributes non-play content, and at least one module at the media content play point for the parsing of the non-play content, wherein the parsed non-play content enables the hub to instruct a preemption of a first of the media play content with an accessing and insertion of a second of the media play content to the media content play point.
Abstract:
A method for capturing a broadcast is disclosed. The method for capturing a broadcast includes detecting an approximate start time of the broadcast, wherein said detecting includes monitoring for a broadcast trigger, identifying the broadcast and a timed length thereof, such that, based on the timed length and the approximate start time, an approximate end time may be calculated, and recording the broadcast from the trigger to the approximate end time, wherein said recording has captured the broadcast of radio advertising.
Abstract:
A feedback system for controlling play of media content is disclosed. The feedback system for controlling play of media content includes a hub that is at least partially remote from a media content play point, for accessing and instructing a forwarding of the media content for play, at least one output associated with the hub that contributes non-play content, wherein parsed non-play content enables the hub to instruct a preemption of a first of the media play content with an insertion of a second of the media play content to the media content play point, a first input to the hub that monitors, after a first play of the media content at the media content play point, for availability of at least one second play of the media content, a second input to the hub that effectuates the non-play content to the at least one output based on feedback from a first play of the media content.
Abstract:
A database interface (130) for developing at least one media play is disclosed. The database interface for developing at least one media play includes a plurality of templates, generated in accordance with feedback prior ones of the at least one media plays, at least two desired criteria limiting circumstances for play of the media play received at one of said templates, and an accessor (150) that accesses media play inventory (140) and preempts certain of the media play inventory with an insertion of the media play according to said at least two desired criteria.
Abstract:
A management console located proximate to a hub for managing at least one radio broadcast is disclosed. The console includes a connection to a digital automation system, the digital automation system directing the at least one radio broadcast and a software suite suitable for providing an interface for feature sets of the digital automation system via the connection.
Abstract:
A system for directing play content for a media play is disclosed. The system for directing play content for a media play includes a hub that is at least partially remote from a media play point and that directs at least a portion of the play content for the media play for occurrence at the media play point, at least one locating reference associated with a location of the play content, at least one module at the media play point that, pursuant to at least one instruction from said hub comprising non-play content, accesses the locating reference to enable a preemption of a first scheduled content with an insertion of the play content associated with the locating reference based on the non-play content.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a system for managing broadcasting of media content. The system includes at least one database at a hub, wherein at least one digital file associated with the media content is relationaUy present in the at [east one database, and a computer software accessible at a local media play point remote from the hub that provides a graphical user interface for at least scheduling, editing, and distributing of a plurality of ones of the at least one digital file for broadcasting, where the interface includes at least a header reader that allows for graphical display of header information, wherein the header information includes at least a graphic indicative of length of pfay and a plurality of alerts occurring within the length of play. Also included is at least one computerized device at the local media play point for accessing and playing the at least one digital file.
