For example, using at least one first arrangement, it is possible to receive at least one first radiation from the at least one structure and at least one second radiation from a reference, and interfere the first and second radiations to generate at least one third radiation. Further, with at least one second arrangement, it is possible to generate spectroscopic data as a function of the at least one third radiation, and reduce at least one scattering effect in the spectroscopic data to generate the information. In addition or as an alternative, according to a further exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, it is possible to classify a type of the structure based on the spectroscopic data to generate the information.

摘要: Exemplary systems and methods can be provided for providing information associated with tissue. For example, it is possible to illuminate the tissue with at least one electro-magnetic radiation which is a coherent light and/or a partially coherent light. The electro-magnetic radiation reflected from the tissue can be received and speckle patterns may be formed associated with the electro-magnetic radiation. In addition, changes can be analyzed in the speckle patterns at time intervals sufficient to measure motion of or within a fascial compartment of the tissue. For example, it is also possible that the electro-magnetic radiation is an interfered radiation from a sample and a reference. Further, the speckle patterns can be measured at different depths within the sample by moving the reference.

摘要: An apparatus for applying a plurality of electro-magnetic radiations to a sample is provided. In one exemplary embodiment, the apparatus can include an arrangement which has a specific portion with a plurality of channels. One of channels can facilitate a first radiation of the radiations to be forwarded to the sample that is within an anatomical structure, and another one of the channels can facilitate a second radiation of the radiations to be forwarded to the sample. The first radiation may have a first wavelength band, and the second radiation may have a second wavelength band. The first wavelength band may be substantially different from the second wavelength band. According to another exemplary embodiment, the first radiation can be adapted to be delivered to a first area of the sample, and the second radiation may be capable of being delivered to a second area of the sample. The first area may be substantially enclosed by the second area. According to yet another exemplary embodiment of the present invention, each of the channels can facilitate at least one particular radiation of the radiations to be forwarded to the sample that is within an anatomical structure of the sample, the radiations being delivered to different areas of the sample. Centers of every one of the areas may be provided substantially along a line.

摘要: Exemplary systems and processes for generating information associated with at least one portion of a sample are provided. In one exemplary embodiment, at least one electro-magnetic radiation can be received from the at least one portion, whereas the electro-magnetic radiation has a wavenumber that is between approximately 5,000 cm -1 and 600 cm -1 . The information can be generated which includes structural data, molecular data and/or chemical data of the portion. The information can be generated based on (a) at least one phase of the at least one electro-magnetic radiation, and/or (b) at least one refractive index of the at least one portion. According to another exemplary embodiment, the electro-magnetic radiation having a first wavenumber can be transmitted to the portion which has at least two substances, whereas a refractive index of one of the substances at a second wavenumber is approximately the same as a refractive index of another one of the substances at the second wavenumber. The electro-magnetic radiation can be controlled such that the first wavenumber substantially matches the first wavenumber to reduce scattering within the portion.
