Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung (1) zur Prüfung und/oder Pflege eines Schlauches (2), insbesondere eines Feuerwehrschlauches, umfassend zumindest eine Anschlussarmatur (3), eine Haspel (6) und eine Wickeleinrichtung, wobei die Vorrichtung (1) eine Zugvorrichtung (8) und eine Gleitfläche (5) umfasst und die Anschlussarmatur (3) an der Zugvorrichtung (8) angeordnet ist und mit der Zugvorrichtung (8) relativ zu der Gleitfläche (5) beweglich ist. Die Erfindung betrifft weiterhin ein Verfahren zur Prüfung und/oder Pflege eines Schlauches (2), insbesondere eines Feuerwehrschlauches, bei dem der Schlauch (2) nach einer Reinigung in einer Wascheinrichtung (20) zur Überprüfung seiner Dichtigkeit zumindest abschnittsweise mit Druckfluid gefüllt wird.

An apparatus for draining and transporting large diameter hoses includes a frame that is movable by virtue of a pair of wheels. The center of gravity of the frame, and of the frame and a coiled hose situated on it, is located directly above the wheels. The frame includes a front toe for facilitating the rolling of a coiled segment of hose up and onto the frame. The frame includes horizontally disposed rollers that facilitate removal of the coil from the frame. The frame also includes a guide bar to assist in maintaining the coil in an upright position during transport. An attachment is removably secured to the frame to allow a portion of the hose to drape over an attachment roller to extract water from the hose and to allow a power-driven winding rod to wind the hose into a coil.

A universal hose clamp (1) is described, which comprises a universal hose locating mechanism (2), a hose coupling (4) for connecting a hose to the hose clamp (1), and a securing means for securing said locating mechanism to a support structure. The universal hose clamp (1) may be employed to secure a hose to an existing support structure (22) or to a portable independent frame (23). It is designed to be adaptable for use with a range of hose diameters and as such the universal hose clamp (1) can be employed in a wide range of emergency situations. When deployed the universal hose clamp (1) provides a means for rotating the hose coupling (4) in any direction and thereafter the hose coupling (4) can be locked in that position. Therefore, with the aid of the universal hose clamp (1) only one operator is required to control a hose device in an emergency situation.

A device (10) for supplying a hardening and pumpable or blowable building material to a material application site, comprising a hose (11) for conducting said material from a material supply to an operator (13) manually distributing said material on the application site by means of the device (10). The device (10) comprises a load distribution support (12) and a connector (14). The load distribution support (12) is connectable to the operator (13) and comprises one or more connecting devices (15). The connector (14) is connected to the hose (11) and is connectable to the one or more connecting devices (15) of the load distribution support (12) to form an articulated connection between the support (12) and the hose (11), so that the hose (11) is supported on the operator (13) through the articulated connection when the device (10) is operated by the operator (13) to distribute said material on the application site.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Feuerlöscharmatur, insbesondere in Form eines Strahlrohres, - mit wenigstens einem Wassereintrittsende und wenigstens einem Wasseraustrittsende, die über einen Wasserdurchgang löschwasserleitend miteinander verbunden oder verbindbar sind; wobei - in dem Wasserdurchgang ein Bauteil zur Steuerung oder Veränderung eines von dem wenigstens einen Wassereintrittsende zu dem wenigsten einen Wasseraustrittsende strömenden Löschwasserstromes vorgesehen ist. Die erfindungsgemäße Feuerlöscharmatur ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass - in dem Wassereintrittsende und/oder dem Wasseraustrittsende ein Feststoffnetzmittelhalter durch das Wassereintrittsende oder das Wasseraustrittsende herausnehmbar eingesetzt ist, - der einen löschwasserumspülbaren Einsatz mit einem inneren Aufnahmeraum zur Aufnahme eines Feststoffnetzmittels aufweist.

Disclosed is a device for carrying a hose or other tubular member. The device includes a first base member releasably connected to a second base member. The first and second base members operate to form a plurality of openings sized to receive a length of hose or other tubular member. The plurality of openings may be configured to permit charging of the hose without removing the hose from therein. The device may include a locking mechanism for selectively securing the first base member to the second base member. The locking mechanism may define a handle for supporting the device. The locking mechanism may further include a handle release for selectively unlocking the locking mechanism.
