Abstract:
Abstract:
The present disclosure is directed to a nozzle (1) for a liquid spraying device, such as a spray gun. This disclosure is particularly directed to a nozzle having a flow controller (4) for modulating flow of the fluid during spraying. The nozzle can be used on a liquid device, such as a spray gun, for spray applications with improved flow controls. This disclosure is also directed to a liquid spray device comprise the nozzle disclosed herein.
Abstract:
A dispensing device for dispensing compressed fluid from a can through a valve stem of the can has a hollow tube with a channel extending through it from an entrance end to an opposing dispensing end, a connector defining a conduit therethrough that is in fluid communication with the channel of the hollow tube and that attaches to a valve stem of a can, a plug located within the channel of the hollow tube that forms a sealing configuration within the channel when pressed towards the dispensing end of the channel, and a sleeve that wraps at least partially around the hollow tube and that has a protrusion that upon activating the sleeve extends through the dispensing end of the hollow tube and prevents the plug from establishing a sealing configuration with the hollow tube.
Abstract:
A slide pin assembly is introduced in HVLP and other spray guns allowing the needle/trigger actuation to be engaged and disengaged. Furthermore, the fluid nozzle is knurled to provide for effortless removal. The construction of this gun consists of a slide pin, trigger, needle and fluid nozzle. The trigger has keyhole apertures that interact with the diameter of the cross-action slide-pin.
Abstract:
A nozzle assembly and related methods for separating hydrocarbon emulsions in a fluid is provided. The nozzle assembly comprises an impingement plate into which hydrocarbon emulsions are ejected causing large emulsion particles in the fluid to be broken apart upon impact with the plate, thus allowing the various constituent components of the emulsion to be more easily separated. In certain embodiments, impact of the hydrocarbon emulsions into the impingement plate also expose clean surfaces on the various components of the emulsion fluid that can more easily interact with any surfactant that may be mixed with the fluid.
Abstract:
A spray paint gun having a disposable cartridge inserted therein such that paint can flow through the cartridge in the spray gun without touching the spray gun. Since no part of the spray gun has paint touching it, there is no cleaning of the spray gun or its components. The cartridges can be easily inserted into the spray gun and easily removed such that different color paints can be used in the spray gun in quick succession without down time for cleaning. There is no use of solvents for cleaning, making the cartridge spray gun environmentally friendly. The disposable cartridges eliminate expensive time consuming cleaning. The cartridges can be breach loaded into the front portion of a spray gun and front portion containing the cartridge can quickly snapped into place and ready for use by a hinged connection to the rear portion or by other connection means.
Abstract:
The present invention relates generally to a gas-compression spray device, wherein the nozzle assembly containing all of the wettable parts is detachable from the body of the spray device.
