Nach diesem Verfahren wird a) ein Formkörper (4) in einem Tauchverfahren in ein flüssiges synthetisches Polyisopren (IR) (synthetischer Latex) eingetaucht, wobei der Formkörper (4) zuvor mit Koagulationsmitteln (Gerinnungsmitteln) oder thermisch behandelt wurde, b) nach dem Austauchen wird die synthetische Polyisopren-Schicht auf dem Formkörper (4) belassen und mit Wasser von allen Salzen befreit, c)hernach wird die synthetische Polyisopren-Schicht mitsamt dem Formkörper (4) in einem Ofen vulkanisiert, d) die synthetische Polyisopren-Schicht wird vom Formkörper (4) abgezogen, e) die durch die Vulkanisation ausgeschiedenen Salze am synthetischen Polyisopren- Formstück (11) werden mit Wasser und einer chlorhaltigen Lösung abgewaschen, f) das synthetische Polyisopren-Formstück (11) wird zur Neutralisierung seines pH- Wertes und zur Erhöhung seiner Geschmeidigkeit in Kontakt mit Körperhaut mit einer Halogenierlösung halogeniert, g) das synthetische Polyisopren-Formstück (11) wird getrocknet. Die so hergestellten Elektro-Schutzhandschuhe sind viel komfortabler zu tragen, bieten einen besseren Isolationsschutz, selbst bei dünnerer Wandstärke, und sie sind langlebiger.

A method of making a foamed article comprises (a) milling a block or sheet of thermoplastic polymer to form a precursor; (b) crosslinking the thermoplastic polymer; (c) heating the precursor to a first temperature to soften the thermoplastic polymer; (d) infusing the thermoplastic polymer with at least one inert gas at a first pressure that is sufficient to cause the at least one inert gas to permeate into the softened thermoplastic polymer; and (e) while the thermoplastic polymer is softened, reducing the pressure to a second pressure below the first pressure to at least partially foam the precursor into a foamed article, wherein the foamed article is substantially the same shape as the precursor.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von porenfreien Polyurethanelastomerformteilen mit einer Shore D Härte nach DIN 53505 von 60 oder mehr, bei dem man (a) Polyesterdiol mit einer OH-Zahl von 20 bis 100 mg KOH/g und (b) Kettenverlängerer bestehend aus Diol mit einem Molekulargewicht von kleiner 300 g/mol mit (c) Isocyanatprepolymeren, erhältlich durch Umsetzung von Diisocyanat mit Polyesterolen mit einer Funktionalität von 1,95 bis 2,2 und einer OH-Zahl von 20 bis 200 mg KOH/g, und gegebenenfalls (d) Katalysatoren, (e) Emulgator und (f) sonstigen Zusatzstoffen zu einer Reaktionsmischung vermischt, in eine Form gibt und zum Polyurethanelastomer aushärtet. Weiter betrifft die vorliegende Erfindung Polyurethanelastomerformteile erhältlich nach einem solchen Verfahren sowie die Verwendung dieser Polyurethanformteile als Verkleidungsteil für Nutzfahrzeuge, Karosseriebauteil im Fahrzeugbau oder ein Verkleidungsteil von einer Maschinenanlage.
