Abstract:
A method for quality control of a packaging system is provided. The method comprises receiving a record of packaging identification data, wherein the record of packaging identification data being related to a package. Next, identifying and receiving a record of machine data using said record of packaging identification data, wherein said record of machine data being related to a machine set up used when producing said package. Thereafter, identifying a packaging quality parameter to be checked based on said record of machine data, and requesting a record of packaging quality data related to said packaging quality parameter.
Abstract:
A vacuum sealing machine includes a base assembly having an upper base portion removably secured to a lower base portion and displacing relative to the lower base portion from a closed position to an open position. Two or more heating strips are disposed on the lower base portion, and each of the heating strips is adapted to seal a portion of an open end of a sealable bag disposed between the lower and upper base portions. At least one securement feature is disposed on the upper base portion and is adapted to apply pressure to a portion of the open end of the inserted sealable bag when the sealable bag is sealed by at least one of the heating strips. In addition, A control unit including at least one microprocessor and a memory unit is in communication with each of the two or more heating strips.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a seal wire (1), particularly for a vertical flow wrapper made from an electrically conductive material. The preset invention further relates to a sealing tool, a vertical flow wrapper and a process for adjusting the temperature of a sealing wire (1).
Abstract:
The following invention relates to a packaging machine with a sealing system comprising a front jaw and a rear jaw which reciprocate between an open-and a sealing-position, respectively, whereas a front jaw comprises two guide shafts which are supported in a frame.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method to control the temperature for sealing devices used in the packaging industry which sealing devices are provided with electrically heated elements made of temperature dependent resistance material. The electrical current is divided in pulses whereby the length of the pulses is adjusted by means of a controlled switch (6). During the interruptions between the said current pulses, separate measuring current pulses of a constant and known value are generated which pulses will cause an electric voltage drop over the resistance element (2). Said voltage drop will be proportional to the temperature of the resistance element. The voltage drop will in a regulator (7) be compared with a set potential corresponding to a desired temperature whereby the sensed potential difference between the voltage drop measured and the set potential value is adapted to control a driving device (9) which will control the length of the heat generating current pulses.
Abstract:
A method for quality control of a packaging system is provided. The method comprises receiving a first record of packaging quality parameter data related to a first packaging quality parameter for a package being assessed, determining a second packaging quality parameter based on said first record, requesting a second record of packaging quality parameter data related to said second packaging quality parameter, and receiving said second record.
Abstract:
A packaging machine forms, fills and seals a mixing pouch that includes a first compartment containing a liquid ingredient and a second compartment containing a light powdered ingredient with a breakable seal, preferably formed by an adhesive heat seal, between the two compartments to separate the two ingredients. The machine creates a breakable seal that can be ruptured to form a common interior cavity and allow the mixing of the two ingredients to create a mixed product. One end of the mixing pouch can be formed with a dispenser through which the mixed product is discharged for use. The mixing pouch is a flexible plastic member formed from two opposing plastic sheets, sealed through heat dies and supplied with powdered and liquid components before being completed. The operation of the machine is automated and powered through pneumatic cylinders. Alternatively, the compartments could be filled with different liquid components.
