Abstract:
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for guiding a web of packaging material, comprising a groove (11) extending along the direction of transport of the web, in which groove one longitudinal edge of the web is intended to run during advancement of the web. The apparatus further includes an aperture in the wall of the groove (11) for applying a partial vacuum for the removal of air and dust from the groove (11) and its ambient surroundings. Further, the present invention relates to a method of removing dust.
Abstract:
A system (20) for handling a web (25) combines guiding and cleaning functions. A guiding roller (22) and upper and lower cleaning rollers (23A, 23B) are mounted in a frame (21) which can be rotated about an axis transverse to the rollers (22, 23A, 23B) to guide the web (25). Other combinations of guiding and cleaning rollers are disclosed.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention include a hose handling system having a hose guide plumbed via a wash line to a fluid delivery device. The hose guide includes a pulley installed on a frame member, and a spray nozzle adapted to dispense a wash mixture. The hose guide is adapted to guide a hose as the hose is inserted into or withdrawn from a manhole, with the hose traversing the pulley. The wash mixture can be delivered through a wash line to the hose guide, which sprays the wash mixture on the hose in order to reduce or eliminate gross contamination or microbial contamination on the hose. The wash mixture typically, but not necessarily, has a freezing point below 32F and includes: a quaternary ammonium compound, an alcohol or glycol, an alcohol ethoxylate, and a fragrance.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for recovering and lowering a hose (25) in a hole, e.g. a deep-drilled well hole, a deep-drilled collector hose hole, etc., a spool (9) of a width adapted to the diameter of the hose being rotatably journalled in a frame (1), a motor (14) being coupled to the spool (9) for rotation thereof in the desired direction and at the desired speed, an additional wheel (15) being rotatable and urgeable against the periphery of the driven spool (9) for urging the hose (25) thereagainst, and the driven spool (9) having two-sided guide flanges (12) which extend past the periphery of the spool (9) and the periphery of the addition wheel (15) when this is in the urging position against the driven spool (9), and which serves for retaining the hose (25) between the driven spool (9) and the additional wheel (15).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus (1) for the disinfection/sterilization and cleaning of banknotes comprising a substantially hollow body (2) having an inner wall at least partially reflecting, opposing inlet (5) and outlet (6) openings for banknotes, a path (7) comprised between the inlet (5) and outlet (6) openings inside the body (2), handling means (8) combined with the path (7) for handling banknotes from the inlet opening (5) to the outlet opening (6), disinfection/sterilization means of the banknotes comprising at least one UV radiation source (9) arranged over the path (7) and at least one UV radiation source (9) arranged under the path (7), and cleaning means of the banknotes comprising at least one brush (10) active along the path (7).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for guiding a web of packaging material. The apparatus comprises a groove (111) extending along the direction of transport (A) of the web, in which groove (111) a longitudinal edge of the web is intended to run during advancement of the web, abutting a bottom of the groove (111). The apparatus differs from prior art devices in that it further includes suction orifices (115) distributed along the length of the groove (111) for applying a partial vacuum for the removal of air and dust from the groove (111) and its surroundings.
Abstract:
A liquid removing device capable of completely removing liquid sticking to a packaging material (11), the device comprising a packaging material (11) formed with a projection at a predetermined position, two squeeze rollers (23, 33), first and second, forming a squeeze portion (P1) for removing liquid sticking to the packaging material (11), and an elastic body. The second squeeze roller (33) comprises main roller portions (53, 54), and a retractable roller (55) adapted to retract upon arrival of an object with projections at the squeeze portion (P1). The elastic body urges a cylindrical sleeve (64) in the retractable roller (55) toward the packaging material (11). When the object with projections arrives at the squeeze portion (P1) as the packaging material (11) is conveyed, the object with projections pushes the sleeve (64) to cause the latter to deviate and the retractable roller (55) to retract. The object with projections and the second squeeze roller (33) stop interfering with each other, permitting the packaging material (11) to be held between the first and second squeeze rollers (23, 33).
