본 발명은 가변 스토퍼가 구비된 다권종 지폐카세트에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는, 서로 다른 권종의 지폐를 동시에 수납할 수 있는 다권종 지폐카세트를 구성함에 있어서, 카세트 몸체 상부에 구동모터에 의해 회동하는 피니언 기어를 포함하여 구성되는 스토퍼 구동수단을 구비하고, 일측면에 상기 피니언 기어와 맞물리는 랙 기어가 형성되어, 상기 스토퍼 구동수단에 구비된 피니언 기어의 회동에 따라, 카세트 몸체 내에서 진입 지폐를 가이드하는 스택가이드를 수직방향으로 통과하며 승강하는 가변 스토퍼를 구비하여 다권종 지폐카세트를 구성함으로써, 하나의 지폐카세트에서 서로 다른 다양한 권종의 지폐의 취급을 용이하게 할 수 있는 가변 스토퍼가 구비된 다권종 지폐카세트에 관한 것이다.

Apparatus is described that has a flexion component (70) configured to apply a force to a first portion of media within a media path (20) of a media processing device (10). The apparatus has a support portion (80) configured to couple the apparatus to the media processing device. The media path provides a path along which the media is transported and has a feed area (30). The flexion moves a second portion of the media away from the feed area of the media path. A method of applying a force to media is also described.

A belt (1) comprising a first cover layer (2) with a first top surface (21) and preferably also a second cover layer (3) with a second top surface (31), wherein the first cover layer (2) and, if present, the second cover layer (3) consist of a foam comprising a thermoplastic or thermoplastic elastomer, in particular a TPU or PEBA. The belt is suitable e.g. as a machine tape in mail sorting machines and for power transmission.

A printer apparatus (1) has a printing unit (20) and a presenter unit (40). The presenter unit (40) includes a first roller (41) driven by an axis (41a) and a second roller (42), an idler roller energized against the first roller (41). The second roller (42) is supported by a pair of connection arms (61) pivotable upon the axis (41a) of the first roller (41). A torque limiter (62) transmits drive torque from the axis (41a) to the arms (61). When a sheet (10) of paper is fed from the printing unit (20) to the presenter unit (40), the first roller (41) is driven to rotate counterclockwise (A1) to convey the sheet (10) in an ejection direction (E). The counterclockwise rotation (A1) of the axis (41a) makes the arms (61) energize the second roller (42) against a fourth roller (44) lying to the left of the first roller (41), so that the second roller (42) tensions conveyor belts (51) spanning the first and fourth rollers (41, 44). Then the sheet (10) is nipped between the first and second rollers (41, 42) and between the second and fourth rollers (42, 44). If no one picks up the ejected sheet (10) within a certain period of time, the first roller (41) is driven to rotate clockwise (B1) to retract the sheet (10) in a retrieval direction (R). The clockwise rotation (B1) of the axis (41a) makes the arms (61) energize the second roller (42) against a third roller (43) lying to the right of the first roller (41), so that the second roller (42) tensions the other conveyor belts (52) spanning the first and third rollers (41, 43). Then the sheet (10) is nipped between the first and second rollers (41, 42) and between the second and third rollers (42, 43).

The invention relates to a transfer device (2) for mail (8) comprising a transfer unit (4) with an output (24) for transferring the individual mail items (8) to a mail carrier (18) and comprising a transport device (10) for transporting the mail (8) to the output (24) in a transport direction (16), said transport device comprising two belts (12, 14) for holding on both sides and transporting the mail (8) and comprising a means for adjusting the distance between the belts (12, 14) to match the thickness of a mail item (8). In order to guarantee non-slip transport of the mail (8) even when the transfer unit (4) is accelerating, it is proposed that the means for adjusting is a belt rocker (32) that can pivot about an axis of rotation, the pivoting motion causing one of the belts (12, 14) to pivot and thus causing the distance thereof to the other belt (12, 14) to vary.

A folder for a web printing press includes a cut cylinder (18) cutting a web (12) into signatures; a first transport belt (32) having a first raised section (40); a second transport belt (34) having a second raised section (42), the signatures being received from the cut cylinder (18) so as to be located between the first and second raised sections (40, 42); and at least one variable speed motor (48, 56) driving the first and second transport belts (32, 34). A method is also provided.
