Abstract:
The present description relates to method of initiating the curing of carboxylic acid-treated material compositions to enable an initial lowering of the viscosity and stiffness of the material for low temperature wetting and coating of solid surfaces, for paving, for waterproofing, for roofing, and for underlayment applications. The present description relates to ecologically sound, non-toxic technology that enables a practitioner to improve the low-temperature cracking properties of a material or material composition while also inducing a rapid increase in the high- temperature stiffness and viscosity of the material or material composition, and to rapid cure and strength development of finished product composition for application in paving, roofing, adhesive interlayer bonding, roll finishing, blow-molding, water-proofing, and underlayment.

The invention concerns a mineral sealing mortar which is to be applied at the plinth of a building for moisture protection. The sealing mortar comprises in a dry state: 60 wt% to 70 wt% of aggregates, 10 wt% to 25 wt% of a mineral binder, 0.1 wt% to 1.0 wt% of fibers, 0.01 wt% to 1.0 wt% of silicates, 0.015 wt% to 1.0 wt% of modified starch, 0.3 wt% to 0.7 wt% of a hydrophobing agent and 5 wt% to 9 wt% of an adhesion agent.
Abstract:
Abstract:
In one aspect, the present invention relates to a mortar composition having good flowability comprising cement, pozzolanic materials, fine aggregate materials, retarder and additives selected from anti-segregating additive, rheology modifier or a mixture thereof. In another aspect, the present invention relates to a lightweight mortar composition having good flowability comprising cement, pozzolanic materials, fine aggregate materials, retarder, air entraining additive, lightweight materials and additives which include anti-segregating additive and rheology modifier. According to the present invention, the fine aggregate materials have a particle size of less than 3.360 mm. The present invention further relates to the use of said mortar composition having good flowability for molding and construction work. The molded products obtained from the mortar composition having good flowability include load bearing parts and non-load bearing parts, namely, blocks, countertops, tie-columns, lintel, moldings, walls and floors.
Abstract:
The present invention provides aqueous compositions that are stable after at least a 24 hour period comprising a polysaccharide viscosity modifying additive and more than 60 wt.%, based on the weight ot total solids in the compositions of one or more polycarboxylate ether, the compositions comprising an acid chosen from an organic acid having 1 hydroxy group or less, a strong acid containing a single hydrogen, an ascorbic acid, and mixtures thereof, the compositions having a pH of less than the pH of the polycarboxylate ether itself, or from 1.0 to 6.0. The present invention enables stable concentrates of aqueous polycarboxylate ethers and polysachharide viscosity modifying agents for use in hydraulic binder applications, the compositions having a total solids content of 10 wt.% to as high as 65 wt.%.
Abstract:
Various embodiments disclosed related to a composition for treating a subterranean formation, and methods and systems including the same. In various embodiments, the present invention provides a method of treating a subterranean formation that can include obtaining or providing a sealant composition comprising an alkali-swellable latex and a viscosifying agent. The method also includes placing the composition in a subterranean formation downhole.
Abstract:

These composite materials can be readily produced from widely available, low cost raw materials by a process suitable for large-scale production with improved energy consumption, desirable carbon footprint and minimal environmental impact.
Abstract:
A method for making geopolymer cementitious binder compositions for cementitious products such as concrete, precast construction elements and panels, mortar and repair materials, and the like is disclosed. The geopolymer cementitious compositions of some embodiments are made by mixing a synergistic mixture of thermally activated aluminosilicate mineral, calcium aluminate cement, a calcium sulfate and a chemical activator with water
Abstract:
A method of servicing a wellbore in a subterranean formation comprising preparing a wellbore servicing fluid comprising cement, an aqueous fluid, and a cyclodextrin, a cyclodextrin derivative, or combination thereof; placing the wellbore servicing fluid in the wellbore and allowing the fluid to set. A wellbore semiring fluid comprising cement, aqueous fluid, and a cyclodextrin, cyclodextrin derivative, or combination thereof.
Abstract:
A salt-tolerant, thermally-stable rheology modifier and, in particular, a rheology modifier for applications in oilfield well-bore fluids. In accordance with one aspect, the rheology modifier comprises a terpolymer of acrylamide, 2-acrylamido-2-methyl-propanesulfonic acid (AMPS) and a long-chain alkyl acrylate wherein the terpolymer is prepared by dispersion polymerization.
