In some cases there is a spacer fluid or spacer device between the first pill and the second pill. In some cases tubing having a mixing device is located at the bottom of the tubing in the wellbore to aid I mixing the first pill and the second pill to facilitate a chemical in situ reaction of the first pill and the second pill. The reaction between the first pill and the second pill forms a set plug at the plug location.

A cementitious composition comprising a crystalline phase and an amorphous phase, and an activator selected from the group of materials comprising inorganic bases. In some cases the crystalline phase is gehlenite. In some cases the crystalline phase is anorthite. In some cases the amorphous phase is amorphous calcium aluminum silicate. In some cases the activator is elected from OPC (1-70 wt%), free lime (1-20 wt%), calcium hydroxide (1-20 wt%), and alkali hydroxides (NaOH, KOH 1 to 10 wt%), individually or in combination. A low lime cementitious material is cured by reaction with a curing reagent that includes a reagent chemical that is synthesized from CO 2 . Examples of such a reagent are oxalic acid and tartaric acid.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer wässrigen Beschichtungsmasse auf Basis eines schnell härtenden hydraulischen Bindemittels, die flüssig auf ein Substrat aufgetragen wird, sowie die entsprechende Beschichtungsmasse. Die wässrige pastöse erste Komponente der Beschichtungsmasse enthält neben Calzium(sulfo-)aluminatzement außerdem ein organisches polymeres Bindemittel, einen Verzögerer und Lithiumsulfat und/oder Lithiumacetat als Härtungsbeschleuniger. Die Beschichtungsmassen ergeben, nach vorhergehender Aktivierung durch Zugabe der zweiten Komponente, welche mindestens einen Aktivator enthält, Beschichtungen mit verbesserten Durchtrocknungseigenschaften.

A building material (1, 2, 3) is described, obtained from an alkaline activation of sawing sludge of stone materials. The building material (1, 2, 3) comprises activating geo-polymerization solutions comprising sodium or potassium silicate dissolved in deionized water, amorphous silica with nanometer sizes and sodium or potassium hydroxide to allow making the building material (1, 2, 3) mainly composed of products and residues from extracting and working activities and lacking any other type of aggregated material. A process for producing such building material (1, 2, 3) is further described.

A method of controlling the setting time of a geopolymer by coating aluminosilicate particles with nanoparticles to slow the geopolymerization reaction. The coating effectiveness of the nanoparticles may be enhanced by pretreating the aluminosilicate particles with a layer-by-layer assembly of polyelectrolytes. A geopolymer is formed by mixing about 39% to about 66% by weight aluminosilicate source, about 0% to about 40% by weight sand, about 19% to about 33% by weight of alkali activator solution, and about 1% to about 4% nanoparticles.

Methods of formulating, premixed cement-based tiling compositions and application of such premixed cement-based tiling compositions as an adhesive or grout. The premixed cement-based tiling compositions include a premixed cementitious slurry having a pH and an alkali activation constituent. The premixed cementitious slurry includes an aluminous or a calcium aluminate cement slurry in an amount of about 35 wt. % to 50 wt. % in combination with one or more filler or modifier materials present in an amount of about 40 wt. % to 65 wt. %. The alkali activation constituent destabilizes the premixed cementitious slurry by increasing the pH thereof to generate a reaction between the premixed cementitious slurry and the alkali activation constituent resulting in the cement-based tiling composition for use as an adhesive or a grout. The alkali composition may be sodium hydroxide supersaturated with lithium carbonate.
