The invention relates to an elastomeric film-forming composition comprising (a) a copolymer formed from monomers consisting of chlorobutadiene and an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid or ester, and (b) one or more cross-linking agents. The invention also relates to dipped articles, gloves, methods of manufacture and uses involving the composition.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a binary process for manufacturing dipped latex product. The binary process disclosed herein eliminates the influence of any level of pre-vulcanization on the outcome of the dipping process whether using natural or synthetic latex. The binary process includes preparing a first latex mixture Formulation A comprising latex, one or accelerators, and one or more surfactants, and preparing a second latex mixture Formulation B comprising latex, one or more curing agents, and one or more surfactants. Further, dipping one or more formers into the Formulation A and B separately in order to form a plurality of coatings/layers of the Formulation A and B, and later on curing the plurality of coatings/layers on the formers to form the dipped latex products, which can be a condom, glove, balloon, catheter, finger cot, surgical tubing, baby bottle nipple or dental dam.
Abstract:
Methods of vulcanization using a high content sulfur polymer, instead of elemental sulfur, have been developed. These high sulfur content polymers are referred to as Chalcogenide Hybrid Inorganic/Organic Polymers (CHIP) materials and have good polymer compatibility in that they are soluble in a number of polymers. Furthermore, CHIP materials may have weaker bonds than the S-S bonds of elemental sulfur and thus provide for a higher crosslinking efficiency vulcanization.

L'invention concerne une composition de caoutchouc à base d'au moins un élastomère diénique, une charge renforçante comprenant majoritairement une charge recouverte au moins partiellement de silice et un système de réticulation, caractérisée en ce que la dispersion de la charge dans la matrice élastomérique a une note Z supérieure ou égale à 70et en ce que la composition est dépourvue d'agent de couplage de la charge avec l'élastomère.

본 발명은 수지 분체의 제조방법 및 이를 위한 일체현 반응기에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따르면 라텍스의 응집과 숙성을 위한 일체형 응집기에 산 응집제를 사용하여 응집공정을 수행하되 잔류하는 산 응집제를 또한 반응기 내에서 중화에 의해 제거함에 따라 내습열과 열안정성이 모두 개선된 수지 분체를 제조할 수 있다.
