The invention relates to a coating composition comprising an autoxidizable alkyd-based resin and a drier composition, the drier composition comprising: a) an iron-ligand complex comprising iron and at least one bispidine ligand; and b) a vanadium compound; wherein the amount of the vanadium compound is such that the coating composition comprises vanadium in a concentration in the range of from 0.01 wt% to 1.0 wt%, based on the solid weight of alkyd-based resin and wherein the amount of iron-ligand complex is such that the coating composition comprises iron in a concentration in the range of from 0.5·10 -4 wt% to 5·10 -3 wt %, based on the solid weight of alkyd-based resin.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen pigmentierten wässrigen Basislack enthaltend eine wässrige Polyurethan-Polyharnstoff-Dispersion (PD) mit in der Dispersion enthaltenen Polyurethan-Polyharnstoff-Partikeln mit einer mittleren Teilchengröße (Volumenmittel) von 40 bis 2000 nm und einem Gelanteil von mindestens 50 Gew.-%, wobei die Polyurethan-Polyharnstoff-Partikel, jeweils in umgesetzter Form, (Z.1.1) mindestens ein Isocyanatgruppen-haltiges Polyurethan-Präpolymer enthaltend anionische und/oder in anionische Gruppen überführbare Gruppen sowie (Z.1.2) mindestens ein Polyamin enthaltend zwei primäre Aminogruppen und ein oder zwei sekundäre Aminogruppen enthalten, wobei der wässrige Basislack eine spezielle Lösemittelzusammensetzung enthält. Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft auch die Verwendung von Basislacken enthaltend die Dispersion (PD) sowie Mehrschichtlackierungen, die unter Einsatz der Basislacke hergestellt wurden.

A presente invenção refere-se a emulsões aquosas de resinas contendo pelo menos um tensoativo não-iônico de fórmula geral R 1 -(A 1 O) n - (A 2 O) x -(A 3 O) y -R 2 , obtidas através de processo de emulsificação por inversão de fases. Em particular, a invenção refere-se a emulsões aquosas de resinas comumente utilizadas em tintas à base de solvente, como, por exemplo, resinas alquídicas. Tais emulsões são estabilizadas por composições de tensoativos não-iônicos e aniônicos que promovem a inversão de fases água- óleo para óleo-água na presença de baixo teor de água, possibilitando a obtenção de emulsões do tipo água-óleo com elevada produtividade e alto teor de sólidos, mesmo em condições de baixo cisalhamento.

Thermally conductive polymer materials comprising thermally conductive charges and polymer network compositions characterized by the fact that the network is able to reorganize by exchange reactions that allow it to relax stresses and/or flow while maintaining network connectivity. As a result, the polymer network is characterized by its finite viscosity at elevated temperatures in spite of the crosslinking. These characteristics provide such materials remarkable properties for use as thermal interface and notably improved adhesion, self-repairing, in addition to greater processing flexibility, better mechanical properties, improved chemical resistance.

An aqueous alkyd resin coating composition, comprising (a) at least one alkyd resin as a dispersed phase; (b) an emulsifier based on styrenated phenols that have been converted into reactive surfactants by first reaction with one or more equivalents of an allyl glycidyl ether to provide pendant allyl groups and then oxyalkylated and (c) water. The invention also provides a method for preparing these aqueous alkyd resin coating compositions from solvent borne alkyd compositions.

The invention relates to a wood impregnation method, in which emulsion is absorbed into the wood by means of pressure difference. The emulsion contains an alkyd binder, an emulgator and water, but does not substantially contain a biocidally acting wood preservative. With this method, which protects the wood in a physical manner, the dimensional stability and the water repulsion of the wood can be improved. In addition, a good biological durability is achieved.
