A method for producing a compound mixture for use as a corrosion inhibiting conductive coating derived from a rubber component and an electrically conductive filler component comprising the steps of providing a rubber masterbatch solution and separately providing an electrically conductive filler masterbatch solution and mixing both masterbatch solutions until homogenous. A corrosion inhibiting conductive coating is produced from the compound mixture above.

본 발명은 폐고무칩을 오일과 혼합하여 가열해서 기계적 절단응력을 이용하여 미분으로 분쇄한 후 이를 이용한 폐고무를 이용한 비경화 1액형 점착 도막방수재 및 그 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 폐고무에 열을 가하여 재료적 탄성을 억제시킨 후 기계적 절단응력을 이용하여 폐고무칩을 미분으로 분쇄한 후 유화아스팔트와 SBR 고무, NR 고무를 혼합하여 추출한 폐고무를 이용한 비경화 1액형 점착 도막방수재 및 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 폐고무칩 10~15 중량부, 오일 20~25 중량부를 혼합하여 200~230℃까지 가열 후 기계적 절단응력을 이용하여 폐고무칩을 미분으로 조성한 다음, 유화아스팔트를 29.6~40 중량부로 혼합한 후, 온도 90~100℃를 유지한 채 충진재 8 ~ 13 중량부, 계면활성제 1 ~ 2 중량부 및 노화방지제 0.1 ~ 0.4 중량부를 혼합하고, 점도조정을 위하여 SBR 3 ~ 6 중량부와 NR 5 ~ 9 중량부 혼합으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 한다.

The present disclosure is directed to textile cords covered with a rubber composition of specified composition, tires having at least one component comprising the rubber-covered textile cords, and related methods for increasing aged cord coverage of rubber-covered textile cords and for preparing the rubber-covered textile cords. The rubber composition of specified composition includes silica filler in an amount of up to 20 phr and silane coupling agent in an amount of up to 5 phr.

Disclosed is a rubber composition suitable for use as a cap ply rubber composition. The rubber composition comprises: (a) at least one natural or synthetic rubbery polymer; (b) from 0.1 to 20 phr of at least one hydrazide compound; (c) from 0.1 to 10 phr of at least one methylene donor; (d) from 0.1 to 10 phr of at least one methylene acceptor resin; and (e) from 0.1 to 10 phr of zinc oxide. A method of making the same is also disclosed.

Disclosed herein is a rubber coating for an electronic communication module, the coating comprising 100 phr of at least one diene-based elastomer, and at least one nano-sized inorganic material having a dielectric constant of at least 9 and a loss tangent of less than 0.1, wherein the coating when cured has a dielectric constant of at least 4.5 and a loss tangent of less than 0.01. Also disclosed are an electronic communication module comprising a radio device having at least a portion of its outer surface surrounded by the rubber coating (i.e., a rubber composition of specified composition), tires or tire retreads incorporating the electronic communication module, and methods for increasing the dielectric constant of a rubber coating without increasing its loss tangent.

Belting for use in a conveyor. The belting includes a fabric base and an environmentally friendly rubber composition. The environmentally friendly rubber composition is applied to at least one surface of the fabric base. The environmentally friendly rubber composition includes a rubber component, a filler, a processing oil and a vulcanizing agent. The filler is provided at a concentration of between about 50 and 150 percent by weight of the rubber component. The processing oil is substantially devoid of aromatic oil. The processing oil is provided at a concentration of between about 20 and 60 percent by weight of the rubber component. The vulcanizing agent is provided at a concentration of between about 1 and 10 percent by weight of the rubber component.

A method for forming a protective coat upon an article includes forming a liquid coating mixture comprising a cross-linking agent and a polymer dissolved within a solvent; applying a first coat of the coating mixture upon the article; evaporating the solvent from the first coat; and cross-linking the article. Also disclosed is a device containing an exterior surface at least partially covered by a coating comprising a cross-linked polymer and a filler material that is selected from the group consisting of a fullerene, a micro-encapsulated material, and a combination of two or more thereof.
