Abstract:
This application discloses a method of provisioning an electronic device. The electronic device proactively broadcasts an advertising packet that includes a device identifier associated with the electronic device. A server receives the device identifier via a client device, and issues a link approval response when it verifies that the electronic device associated with the device identifier is available for provisioning in association with a user account. In response to the link approval response, the electronic device and the client device establish communication via a short range wireless link. The client device encrypts at least a portion of network credentials of a secure wireless network using a password key generated at the server, and provides the encrypted network credentials to the electronic device. The electronic device decrypts the encrypted network credentials using a key generated at the electronic device, and accesses the secure wireless network using the decrypted network credentials.

Abstract:
Disclosed are methods, systems, apparatuses, circuits and associated computer executable code for providing video based subject characterization, categorization, identification and/or presence response. According to some embodiments, there is provided a system including a video acquisition module, a video analytics module and a subject presence response module.
Abstract:
The system and method is an analysis video to determine if a person is displaying a predetermined position indicating that he/she is being held or forced to act under duress. The system takes a digital video image and compares the image to a library of video duress patterns, if a duress pattern is recognized, then the system notifies another party of the situation, such as a security officer.
Abstract:
A calibration device is presented for use in a surveillance system for event detection. The calibration device comprises an input utility for receiving data indicative of an image stream of a scene in a region of interest acquired by at least one imager and generating image data indicative thereof, and a data processor utility configured and operable for processing and analyzing said image data, and determining at least one calibration parameter including at least one of the imager related parameter and the scene related parameter.
Abstract:
The invention is a security system for uncovering hazardous persons and objects carried by said persons entering sensitive areas. The system comprises a set of detection sensors and a supervisory sub-system connected to a check-in database. The sensors are for example capable of detecting metallic and non metallic hidden objects, mobile phones, explosive radiological, biological or epidemiological indices as well as abnormal behaviour. They are arranged in modules along a corridor. The persons going through the corridor are monitored by video cameras which allow for continuous matching of the sensors data and the identity of the individual going through control. Individual risk levels are correlated between the sensors and an aggregate risk level is calculated from at least two sensors, taking into account personalized alarm thresholds set by the authorities.
Abstract:
A video surveillance system extracts video primitives and extracts event occurrences from the video primitives using event discriminators. The system can undertake a response, such as an alarm, based on extracted event occurrences.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a system for processing visual information, comprising: a number of cameras for recording visual information, a control room in communication with the cameras and having means for displaying recorded visual information, and control means for influencing the information displayed in the control room. The invention also relates to a method for visual surveillance.
