Abstract:
Methods, systems, and devices for displaying advertisements on mobile telephone devices at the end of a call to a pre-designated number are disclosed. In aspect a computerized method comprises determining that a telephone call has been initiated between a mobile telephone device and a second telephone device, determining that the telephone number matches a campaign telephone number stored on the mobile telephone device, determining a media object to display based on the telephone number, downloading the media object on the mobile telephone device, determining that the telephone call has ended, and displaying the media object on the mobile telephone device after the telephone call has ended.
Abstract:
This disclosure provides methods, services, and platforms that automatically prompt mobile phone users to add contact information to their phone book after a triggering event such as calling a phone number. The methods, services, and platforms allow mobile network operators to provide a service that allows businesses to potentially have their numbers added to the phonebook of a mobile phone after a disconnected call.
Abstract:
A method for generating digital events in response to inbound or outbound phone calls on analog phone systems is described. The method monitors a public switched telephone network (PSTN) phone line to detect a call. The analog audio signal of the detected call is amplified. The method acquires call information regarding the detected call from the phone line. The call information is sent to a server as a digital event over a network interface. Voice call recording for the call is initiated. The method uploads a data record that contains the voice call recording to the server over the network interface after the completion of the call. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.
Abstract:
A technique for displaying information in association with communication involves a mobile device engaging in communication with an entity. The mobile device (and/or one or more other computing systems) can determine that a phone number of the entity identifies entity-specific content associated with the entity. For example, the entity-specific content is associated with the entity and is identifiable based on the phone number of the entity. The mobile device can detect at least one of an incoming real-time voice communication associated with the phone number or an outgoing real-time voice communication associated with the phone number. The mobile device can acquire from an entity-specific content source the entity-specific content identified based on the phone number. The mobile device can further display (or otherwise present) at least a portion of the entity-specific content during the at least one of the incoming real-time voice communication or the outgoing real-time voice communication.
Abstract:
Methods and systems for intelligently terminating calls are provided herein. In some embodiments, a method for intelligently terminating calls may include receiving a call request directed to a communication identifier associated with a first user, determining a call termination action to associate with the call request based on (a) information associated with the call request and (b) previous call termination patterns associated with the first user, and terminating the call to one or more devices associated with the communication identifier based on the determined call termination action.
Abstract:
A method for filtering a telephone call is provided. The method may comprise receiving from a caller the telephone call directed to a communication device associated with an intended call recipient. The received telephone call may be scored based on predetermined scoring criteria to create a score indicative of a desirability of the telephone call. Furthermore, the method may comprise comparing the score to a predetermined threshold score. Based on the comparison, the method may further comprise selectively classifying the telephone call as an unwanted telephone call. Furthermore, the method may comprise selectively rejecting the unwanted telephone call.
Abstract:
A method for handling crossing calls between a first and a second party in a communication network is proposed. A first call between the first and the second party is disconnected. The first party attempts to establish a subsequent second call towards the second party. A number of the first party is stored in a database during establishment of the first call. It is further checked if a number of the first party attempting to establish the second call is the same with the number stored in the database and if the second party is attempting to establish a third call, simultaneous to the second call, towards the first party. In case both checks are positive, the second call is established towards the second party and the third call attempt is terminated.
Abstract:
The present application is directed to a method of aggregating and responding to communications. The method includes receiving incoming communications from a plurality of network connected communication sources, and automatically receiving, at a computing device, incoming communications from a plurality of network connected communication sources; and automatically sending to each of the plurality of network connected communication sources a customized message that is based on at least identification information associated with a sender of the respective incoming communication.
