摘要: The present invention discloses methods and systems for independent, personalized, video-synchronized, cinema-audio delivery and tracking. Methods include the steps of: upon receiving at least one film each having a video source file and at least one audio source file including at least one initial, digital alignment-marker for the video source file and at least one audio source file based on marker information, independently identifying at least one audio- subscriber device; upon receiving at least one request from at least one audio-subscriber device for audio-channel delivery, verifying at least one delivery authorization for at least one audio- subscriber device based on fulfillment criteria; and upon receiving at least one delivery- authorization confirmation, independently delivering and tracking at least one video- synchronized audio channel to each at least one audio-subscriber device. Alternatively, upon receiving a common A/V source file, discretizing the common A/V source file into separate video source file and at least one audio source.

摘要: A digital glass enhanced media system (DGEMS) is provided that is capable of performing routing and processing of audio and video inputs received from a plurality of digital glass devices, as well as a plurality of agencies, in order to provide enhanced and coordinated information distribution among the digital glass devices. Such routing may include distributing information received from the devices to relevant agencies providing assistance to the wearers of those devices, as well as to other team member devices. Control is also provided, such that a user of such a digital glass device can select how or what information is received. In this manner, coordinated information distribution can be provided so as to allow users to optimize the coordination of their teamwork.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for securely providing a place-shifted media stream from a place shifting device (108) to a remote player (112) via a communications network (102). A request for a connection (306) is received from the remote player at the place shifting device via the communications network. In response to the request for the connection (308), an authorization credential is requested (310) from a central server via the communications network. Further, in response to the authorization credential received from the central server, the place-shifted media stream (412) between the place shifting device and the remote player can be established over the communications network. At least a portion of the place-shifted media stream may be encrypted (325) based upon the authorization credential.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed for enabling a switched digital video (SDV) server to prioritize SDV programs. More specifically, SDV programs carried on an RF carrier frequency are given priorities in the event of unavailable bandwidth. In this manner, the SDV server selects which SDV programs to broadcast, to unbind, or not to fulfill.

摘要: A data stream recorder system (11) for mufti-stream recording and retrieval utilizes a number of gateways (23, 24, 25), each for sending and receiving packets containing streaming multimedia content data at real-time rates via a packet data network. A session manager communicates via the network with source client devices and receiver client devices to establish and control recording and retrieval sessions. The manager assigns sessions to the gateways for the sending and receiving of the packets to and from client devices. Content is distributed across storage devices associated in storage nodes (27, 28, 29). Each of the gateways (23, 24, 25) receives packets containing content data at real time rates during a recording session and distributes the received packets from the session across all of the storage nodes (27, 28, 29). A scheduler of each respective storage node distributes content data from packets distributed to the respective storage node, across all of the digital storage devices of the respective storage node.

摘要: The method for transmitting multimedia data on demand by using dynamic channel and apparatus thereof are disclosed. The method for transmitting multimedia data on demand comprises continuously transmitting the multimedia data from beginning to end via a first static channel at a first static channel transmission point, transmitting a portion of the multimedia data from beginning via a first to d`h(d is a natural number not less than 1) dynamic channel at a first to dth dynamic channel transmission point, reusing kth(k is more than 1 and less than d) dynamic channel as another dynamic channel after releasing the kth dynamic channel to be available after Tk from the kth dynamic channel transmission point, wherein the Tk is not less than an elapsed time from the first static channel transmission point to the kth dynamic channel transmission point, and continuously transmitting the multimedia data from beginning to end via a second static channel at a second static channel transmission point. According to the present invention, without increasing the waiting time of subscriber or reducing the total number of videos to be transmitted, it is possible to provide Vol) service with fewer channels.
