Abstract:
It comprises means (2) for advancing the bottles (3) and a cutting device (1) of the neck of the bottles. It is characterised in that said cutting devie (1) comprises a pair of blades (7), a pair of rotating plates (4) for drawing the bottles (3), along and a plurality of drive pulleys (9) in contact with the bottles (3), in such a way that as the rotating plates (4) move so too do the bottles, athe same time rotating about their axes and in contact with the blades. These characteristics ensure fast and effective cutting to the bottles, while the cutting device occupies little space.
Abstract:
An apparatus for cutting dry pasta strands includes a frame (12) and a guide rail (20) mounted on the frame. A bucket (16) is slidably mounted to the guide rail and linearly moves along the guide rail. The bucket (16) has a stepped pasta-receiving channel (32) including a cutting edge (80). A cutting blade (22) is fixed to the frame for selective sliding engagement against the cutting edge (80) to cut the pasta in half.
Abstract:
A cutting mechanism for a receipt-printing machine, which has paper dispensed from a paper supply roll, the cutting mechanism having a "v"-shaped, guillotine blade (40). The blade is driven via a blade holder (42) against a stationary blade (72). There is a blade guide (74) which has side mountings (78) for guiding at least one end tab (43) of the guillotine blade into perpendicular contact with the paper web. The guillotine blade is driven through the blade guide by a drive cam (50), which rotatively engages the blade holder. The cam is driven by a motor-driven gear train that has a timing gear (28) for timing the occurrence of web cutting. The guillotine blade retracts from the blade guide under the influence of spring biasing.
Abstract:
A bottle trimming machine and method where blow molded two-bottle logs are fed down an arcuate path during trimming of neck flash and neck rings.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for die cutting a stack consisting of sheet-type materials, in particular labels. According to said method, a movement of a stack to be cut in relation to a hollow cylindrical die-cutter blade causes the stack to be pushed into said die-cutter blade. This type of device is characterized in that the die-cutter blade (18) is adjustably mounted in a frame (16) and said frame (16) is retained by a holding device (13) that is mounted in a die-cutter head-plate (12), which can be displaced in relation to said holding device. The frame (16) can be displaced on a parallel plane to the die-cutter head-plate (12), can be adjusted, in particular, in two principal axis directions that are substantially perpendicular to one another and in addition, can be pivoted out of the plane. A device of this type enables a precise alignment of the die-cutter blade in relation to the stack to be cut.

The invention relates to a device for die cutting a stack consisting of sheet-type materials, in particular labels. According to said method, a movement of a stack to be cut in relation to a hollow cylindrical die-cutter blade causes the stack to be pushed into said die-cutter blade. This type of device is characterized in that the stack to be cut (8) is positioned between a stop element (88) and a displaceable insertion (21) element, whereby said insertion element (21) rests against a stop (89) and both the stop element (88) and stop (89) can be adjusted. A configuration of this type for the die-cutter guarantees an optimum positioning of the stack in the vicinity of the die-cutting ram, independent of varying stack sizes.
Abstract:

The invention relates to a device for die cutting a stack consisting of sheet-type materials, in particular labels. According to said method, a movement of a stack to be cut in relation to a hollow cylindrical die-cutter blade causes the stack to be pushed into said die-cutter blade. This type of device comprises a frame (16), with clamping elements (17) mounted therein for fixing the die-cutter blade (18), said elements being displaced and fixed in relation to the frame (16), in addition to an adjusting element (70, 72) mounted in the frame (16) for the flush alignment, using at least one alignment edge of said adjusting element (70, 72), with a section of a cutting edge (69) of the die-cutter blade (18), prior to the fixation of the positioned clamping elements (17). A die-cutter device of this type enables the die-cutter blade to be preset in order to achieve an optimum positioning of the latter in relation to the stack to be cut.

The invention relates to a device for die cutting a stack consisting of sheet-type materials, in particular labels. According to said method, a movement of a stack to be cut in relation to a hollow cylindrical die-cutter blade causes the stack to be pushed into said die-cutter blade. This type of device is characterized in that the die-cutter blade (18) is adjustably mounted in a frame (16), which can be inserted in a holding device (13) perpendicularly to the relative displacement direction (K) of the stacks to be cut (7) and die-cutter blades (18), and can be fixed in a central position. The holding device (13) is mounted in a die-cutter head plate (12), in such a way that it can be adjusted in relation to the latter. A die-cutter device of this type has an extremely compact construction, as a result of the positioning and mounting of the die-cutter blade in the direction of the relative movement of the stack to be cut and the die-cutter blade.
Abstract:
