Группа изобретений относится к ветеринарии и предназначены для лечения и профилактики инфекционных заболеваний копыт животных. Предложена водная бактерицидная композиция для профилактики и/или лечения инфекционных заболеваний копыт у животных на основе соли меди, которая содержит следующее соотношение компонентов, мас.%: медный купорос 1,8-18, глицинат цинка 0,05-0,5, серная кислота 0,1-1,0, лимонная кислота 0,15-1,5, молочная кислота 0,11-1,1, гидроксиуксусная кислота 0,11-1,1, бриллиантовый зелёный 0,03- 0,3, поливиниловый спирт 0,03- 0,3, ПАВ 0,1-1,0, вода - остальное. Также предложен способ ее нанесения. Изобретения обеспечивают создание дезинфицирующего средства, обладающего высокой проникающей способностью в поражённые ткани животных за счёт высокой биологической эффективности хелатной формы биогенного элемента одного из функциональных компонентов бактерицидной композиции - глицината цинка с биологически стабильной кольцевой структурой, образованной ковалентно-координационной связью между аминной и карбоксильной группами аминокислоты и ионом металла, обладающего также высокой противомикробной активностью, с целью повышения эффективности профилактики инфекционных заболеваний копыт, особенно некробактериоза.

A topical copper ion treatment in basic form comprises a copper ion- containing solution composed of a biocompatible solution containing copper ions obtained by leaching of the copper ions from copper metal into the solution. The copper ion-containing solution can be combined with various carriers to form various forms of the copper ion treatment including creams, gels, lotions, foams, pastes, tampons, solutions, suppositories, body wipes, wound dressings, skin patches, and suture material. A method of making the copper ion-containing solution involves placing solid copper metal in a quantity of a biocompatible solution and maintaining the solution at a specified temperature for a predetermined period of time during which copper ions leach from the copper metal into the solution, and thereafter separating the solution from the solid copper metal.

The invention encompasses neutral dithiocarbamate metal compounds and methods of treating cancer using such compounds, along with methods for sensitizing AIDS/HIV patients to anti-retroviral therapy by blocking the P-glycoprotein membrane toxin extrusion pump using such compounds. Compounds inhibit the growth of cancer cells of a variety of cell types. A method is presented for using the neutral compounds disclosed herein, amongst other uses disclosed herein, to reduce tumor growth, and to potentiate the effect of other anticancer agents. The invention also encompasses pharmaceutical compositions comprising the neutral compounds and a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient, diluent, solubilizer, solvent, adjuvant or carrier, or a mixture thereof.
