Abstract:
An improved eyewear cover is formed from at least one piece of material so that the cover has a base portion and a neck portion extending from the base portion. The neck portion and the base portion are preferably formed from a resilient, shock-absorbing material such as neoprene. The neck portion and the base portion engage each other to form a flexible housing in which the lenses of the glasses rest. The neck portion and the base portion are preferably provided with a fastener element which is configured to secure the engagement between the two portions to thereby lock the eyewear into the housing formed by the cover. In accordance with one aspect of the invention, a slot is formed in the base portion. To enclose a pair of sunglasses, or the like, the lenses of the sunglasses are disposed adjacent to the base portion. The neck portion is wrapped over the lenses and through the slot in the base portion. The neck portion is then attached to the back side of the base portion - thereby holding the lenses in the pocket formed between the base portion and the neck portion.

Abstract:
A flexible, three-dimensional container is made by a prescribed vacuum-molding and heat sealing process. The container possesses a precise, defined geometry before and during use. The container is formed from first and second walls. The first wall has a planar area and a vacuum-molded cavity area drawn out of the plane of the planar area into a predefined three-dimensional geometry. A second wall overlies the first wall to close the cavity area and thereby forms an interior compartment. A thermal seal joins the two walls together. The seal is formed by heating the second wall and the first wall in the planar area, while assuring that the cavity area of the first wall is not subject to heating and possible deformation of its precise vacuum-molded geometry.
Abstract:
A flexible container for storing and dispensing liquids comprising an inner bag and at least one outer bag, and liquid dispensing means. The inner bag is a collapsible impervious bag for dispensing liquid, located within the outer bag, and the outer bag's longitudinal dimensions are smaller than the inner bag's, such that at any given imaginary cross section, the inner bag's circumference at said imaginary cross section is greater than the outer bag's circumference at the same imaginary cross section. The outer bag is made of a substantially non-stretching flexible material, thus imparting the outer bag's high pressure and external impact durability properties to the inner bag which in itself does not necessarily possess these properties.
Abstract:

Abstract:
The invention relates to a closing device for containers with flowable agents, in particular for cleansing agents, cosmetics or the like, which device comprises a housing securable with the container opening so as to be agent-proof and having an outlet tube connected to an outlet which releases the agent, comprises a closing member used to close the outlet tube so as to be agent-proof and to open said tube, and comprises an actuating member used to move the closing member to its ideal position. When different agents of highly variable viscosity have to be stored in the container there is frequently the desire to open optionally defined opening cross-sections of the outlet pipe so that different agents can be dosed in a simple and accurate manner. In this connection, the invention proposes to structure the closing member in such a manner the agent can pass therethrough. One end area of said member has an inlet receivable by a sealing seat (11) to be agent-proof, and another end area is connected to the outlet (13) releasing the agent. The closing member (8) and sealing seat (11) can be spaced in relation to each other and the inlet of the closing member (8) can be opened in at least two different opening cross-sections depending on the spacing. The component moved during the spacing of the closing member (8) and the sealing seat (11) is guided across its entire path of movement in an agent-proof guide. It is particularly advantageous when the actuating member is constructed as a tilting lever and the closing member as a vertical, height-adjustable pipe section consisting of a flexible material and with its lower end surface having an opening which can rest against the sealing seat to form a seal.
Abstract:
An apparatus for dispensing ice includes a bin and a shroud that contains a recess for housing a wheel. The shroud mounts to a front wall of the bin and includes a chute that communicates exterior to the bin. The shroud further includes a curved plate that directs ice into the recess so that the wheel can raise the ice to the chute. A plate mounts at an angle sloping downward towards the front wall of the bin to direct ice onto the curved plate of the shroud. A discharge chute assembly mounts to the ice bin and communicates with the chute of the shroud to permit the delivery of the ice exterior to the bin. A gear motor drives the wheel to facilitate the lifting of the ice to the chute of the shroud. Alternatively, in a combination ice and beverage dispenser, the plate mounted within the bin is replaced with a cold plate mounted within the bin at an angle sloping downward towards the front wall of the bin. The cold plate directs ice in the bin onto the curved plate of the shroud and communicates at inlets to a beverage source to cool beverages before dispensing. Dispensing valves communicate with outlets from the cold plate to permit the dispensing of beverages from the ice and beverage dispensing apparatus.
