Abstract:
Abstract:
A hydraulic fluid which is less apt to clog a vacuum mechanism even when an HFC refrigerant is used; and a refrigerating apparatus. A refrigerating circuit (1) is filled with the hydraulic fluid comprising an HFC refrigerant comprising at least 50 wt. % R32 and a mixed refrigerating machine oil. The mixed refrigerating machine oil comprises a synthetic oil such as an ether oil or ester oil and a PAG oil serving as a clogging inhibitor. The PAG oil accounts for 1 to 15 wt. % of the mixed refrigerating machine oil.
Abstract:
A hydraulic medium is used which comprises a combination of an R32 refrigerant or a mixed refrigerant comprising at least 70 wt. % R32 with a polyvinyl ether oil having a viscosity at 40 DEG C of 46 to 82 cSt. The refrigerating apparatus employing the hydraulic medium containing an R32 refrigerant, which has a low GWP (global warming parameter), can have an improved COP while retaining sufficient reliability.
Abstract:
Briefly, in one aspect, the present invention provides a method of working metals and ceramics comprising applying to the metal or ceramic workpiece, either prior to, during, or after working, an aqueous emulsion comprising a fluorocarbon fluid. In another aspect the invention provides aqueous emulsions comprising fluorocarbon fluids useful as cooling and lubricating fluids in the working of metals and ceramic materials.
Abstract:
The invention provides azeotrope-like compositions consisting essentially of RfOCH3 where Rf is a branched or straight chain perfluoroalkyl group having 4 carbon atoms, 1-bromopropane and an alcohol and cleaning and coating compositions and processes utilizing such compositions.
Abstract:
A grease made by combining polychlorotrifluoroethylene oil with a thickening agent comprising polychlorotrifluoroethylene (PCTFE) polymer. The thickening agent is made by polymerizing chlorotrifluoroethylene [R-1113] in the presence of a telogen, which is 2,2-dichloro-1,1,1-trifluoroethane[R-123] or a homolog thereof, namely CF3-CF2-CHCl2, CF3-CF2-CF2-CHCl2, and CF3-CF2-CF2-CF2-CHCl2.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to compositions comprising HFC-63-14mcee (1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 4, 5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 7,- tetradecafluoroheptane). The compositions may be azeotropic or azeotrope-like and are useful in cleaning applications, as a defluxing agent, for removing oils or residues from a surface, depositing or removing lubricants from a surface, and as refrigerants or heat transfer fluids in refrigeration systems, air-conditioners and heat pumps.
