摘要: A computer implemented method of obtaining measurements of a person is disclosed herein. The method comprises obtaining a parametric deformable three-dimensional body model that can approximate the shape of any person, obtaining at least one image of the person, estimating one or more correspondences between the at least one image and the three-dimensional model, performing semantic image segmentation to segment the image of the person into their corresponding body parts, and iteratively adjusting at least one of (a) body pose and (b) shape parameters of the parametric deformable three-dimensional body model, to improve the fit of the three-dimensional model to at least one of: (i) the at least one image, (ii) the estimated one or more correspondences, and (iii) the segmented body parts. Measurements may then be extracted from the iteratively adjusted parametric deformable three-dimensional body model.

摘要: The present teaching relates to method, system, medium, and implementations for estimating 3D coordinate of a 3D virtual model. Two pairs of feature points are obtained. A first 3D coordinate of the first 3D feature point and a second 3D coordinate of the second 3D feature point are automatically determined based on the pairs of feature points so that a first distance between the determined first 3D coordinate and the determined second 3D coordinate equals to a second distance between a first actual 3D coordinate of the first 3D feature point and a second actual 3D coordinate of the second 3D feature point in the 3D virtual model.

摘要: An augmented reality device generates an updated position and orientation (pose) value by initially determining, using image-based processing, a pose estimate from a current image frame, a previous image frame and a previous pose. An IMU pose is then obtained from data generated by an inertial measurement unit including motion sensors, and transformation between the pose estimate and the IMU pose is determined. The transformation is applied to the pose estimate to generate a pose update. Media content is applied to a position within an image, the position being based on the pose update.

摘要: A computer-implemented method of determining a pose of each of a plurality of objects in a three-dimensional scene includes, for each given object of the plurality of objects: obtaining image data and associated depth information representing a view of the three-dimensional scene in which at least a part of the given object is visible; and processing the image data and the associated depth information to estimate a pose of the given object. The method further includes iteratively updating the estimated poses of the plurality of objects, wherein the updating includes: sampling, for each given object of the plurality of objects, a plurality of points from a predetermined model of the given object transformed in accordance with the estimated pose of the given object; determining respective first occupancy data for each given object of the plurality of objects dependent on positions of the points sampled from the predetermined model of the given object, relative to a voxel grid containing the given object; determining respective second occupancy data for each given object of the plurality of objects dependent on positions of the points sampled from the predetermined models of the other objects of the plurality of objects, relative to the voxel grid containing the given object; and updating the estimated poses of the plurality of objects to reduce an occupancy penalty depending on the respective first occupancy data and the respective second occupancy data for each of the plurality of objects.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a computer - implemented method, devices and systems for determining a location associated with a gemstone. That method includes training a data model to detect a characteristic associated with a feature of interest pertaining to a gemstones surface. The training including the steps of providing a plurality of training images of gemstones, each training image associated with a label for a feature of interest pertaining to a given region of a gemstone type and an output indicating the specific gemstone type for the label. An input image of a gemstone for which a location is to be determined is then provided to the trained data model, wherein the data model detects at least one characteristic in the input image that corresponds to a feature of interest in the plurality of training images, determines that characteristic in the input image is associated with the label in the trained data model that corresponds to said feature of interest, identifies that the gemstone in the input image is of the specific gemstone type associated with said label, and finally provides an output representation of the respective feature of interest of the respective region for the identified specific gemstone type. Then, based on the output representation, a location on a corresponding region of the gemstone associated with the input image can be determined

摘要: A method of generating a custom three-dimensional (3D) model of a patient bone from one or more 2D images is disclosed. The method includes obtaining a 2D image of a bone, optionally of a joint, and identifying a 3D bone template for a candidate or representative bone from a pre-aligned library of representative bones. The method further includes repositioning one or more views of the 3D model or 2D images (e.g., with respect to rotation angle or caudal angle). In an iterative process, another 3D bone model for another candidate bone can be identified based on the repositioning until an accuracy threshold is satisfied. When the accuracy threshold is satisfied, surface region(s) of the current 3D bone model can then be modified to generate the resulting 3D model for the patient bone. The process can then be repeated for other bone(s) associated with the joint of the patient.

摘要: An example method may include applying an automated face detection program implemented on a computing device to a plurality of training digital images associated with a particular TV program to identify a sub-plurality of the training digital images, each containing a single face of a particular person associated with the particular TV program. A set of feature vectors determined for the sub -plurality may be used to train a computational model of a face recognition program for recognizing the particular person in any given digital image. The face recognition program and the computational model may be applied to a runtime digital image associated with the particular TV program to recognize the particular person in the runtime digital image, together with geometric coordinates. The runtime digital image may be stored together with information identifying the particular person and corresponding geometric coordinates of the particular person in the runtime digital image.
