Abstract: A resistor assembly for a motor drive circuit for an electric motor assembly can have a generally circular shape. The resistor assembly includes a resistor with input and output connectors and a pair of conductor elements extending from the input and output connectors. The pair of conductor elements extend adjacent each other along a curved serpentine path so the resistor has a generally circular outer perimeter and a generally circular inner perimeter. The curved serpentine path of the pair of conductor elements allows current to flow through the pair of conductor elements so that magnetic fields generated by the current flow through the pair of conductor elements cancel each other, thereby providing the resistor with low inductance.

Abstract: A method for expanding features of a gas engine replacement device that drives power equipment including controlling, by an electronic processor of the gas engine replacement device, a power switching network to selectively provide power from a battery pack to rotate a motor of the gas engine replacement device. A module interface of the gas engine replacement device receives an external electronics module. A type of the external electronics module received by the module interface is detected by the electronic processor of the gas engine replacement device. The gas engine replacement device is configured by the electronic processor based on the type of the received external electronics module. The electronic processor communicates with the external electronics module via the module interface.

Abstract: A recirculating linear generator comprises a motor, a pulley system, two series of coil structures each arranged coaxially, a positive lead, and a negative lead. The pulley system includes a. driver pulley driven by the motor and a. take-up pulley. A belt couples to the driver pulley and the take-up pulley, so when driven, the belt travels along the driver pulley and tire take-up pulley rotates. A series of ferromagnetic couple to the belt. The belt and masses traverse through a center (i.e., an axis) of the first series and second series of coil structures, and the first series and second series of coil structures each comprise a single electrical path. The positive lead couples to positive ends of the first and second series of coil structures, and the negative lead, couples to negative ends of the first and second series of coil structures.

Abstract: Some embodiments provide irrigation generator systems that include a main conduit comprising an inlet conduit and an outlet conduit; a flow control system positioned within the main conduit; a generator conduit comprising a generator inlet conduit and a generator outlet conduit, wherein the generator inlet conduit is fluidly coupled with the main conduit upstream of the flow control system, the generator outlet conduit is fluidly coupled with the main conduit downstream of the flow control system; and a generator comprising a rotor assembly cooperated with generator conduit to be physically activated by a flow of fluid through the generator conduit causing rotation of the rotor assembly and generates electrical power. The flow control system transitions between a closed state to the open state in response to a water pressure exceeding a pressure threshold.

The electronic processor (302) configured to control the power switching network (310) to rotate the motor (36), receive a control signal from the remote control device (150), and execute a responsive action to the control signal from the remote control device (150).
