    Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques for continuous improvement of machine learning models (also called data models) in a Content Management System (CMS). In one example, a CMS may store a set of data models for each application such as plate number recognition, facial recognition, a determination of likelihood of assault to a law enforcement officer in a traffic violation or robbery scenario, and car identification. In an example embodiment, a predictive model may be used to select a data model from the plurality of data models. The selected data model may be further improved or trained to a new sample of data features to generate an output pattern (e.g., likelihood of assault to a law enforcement officer).

    Abstract: A system for transcoding a digital video stream using a transcoder includes receiving a digital video stream that includes an input video stream and extracting a first set of presentation time stamps from the input video stream which are stored in a table. The system transcodes the input video stream including the first set of presentation time stamps from an initial set of characteristics to a modified set of characteristics including a second set of presentation time stamps that are different from the first set of presentation time stamps. The system processes the second set of presentation time stamps of the transcoded video stream to determine if the second presentation time stamps include jitter, and based upon determining the second set of presentation time stamps include jitter modifying the second set of presentation time stamps based upon the first set of presentation time stamps in the table.

    Abstract: Real-time latency of audio/video streams is identified. Signatures of a reference audio/video stream and signatures of a test audio/video stream are buffered. A needle is constructed as a vector including a set of signatures of the reference audio/video stream. Correlations of the needle to successive vectors of sets of signatures of the test audio/video stream are computed using a correlation function that calculates relatedness of the needle vector to each of the successive vectors of the test audio/video stream. A synchronization offset is identified between the test stream and the reference stream according to a maximum correlation point of the correlations of the needle to the successive sets of signatures of the test audio/video stream. The reference audio/video stream and the test audio/video stream are aligned according to the synchronization offset.
