    Abstract: Embodiments include systems, methods, and devices for radio resource allocation to support multicast services in a network, such as a Fifth Generation (5G) New Radio (NR)(5G NR), etc. In some embodiments, the methods may be performed by a processor of the base station. In some embodiments, the methods may be performed by a processor of a wireless device. Various embodiments may include configuring two or more downlink (DL) frequency resources for multicast communication within a carrier bandwidth. Various embodiments may include selecting a DL frequency resource for multicast communication of the two or more DL frequency resources for multicast communication to monitor for transmission of multicast data from a base station based at least in part on an active DL bandwidth part (BWP) of a wireless device.
