The polyisocyanate and the hydroxyl functional polyol may envelop the fabric reinforcement (110) prior to reacting during the belt molding process, or even while reacting in the molding process.

The invention relates to a structural component semi-finished product (2) which comprises two wall elements (3, 4) that at least partially delimit, in a transverse direction (Q), a receiving chamber (5) which extends in a longitudinal direction (L). Reinforcing fibres (6) are arranged in said receiving chamber (5) and, in order to distribute a matrix material (7) in the receiving chamber (5), a flow aid (10) is provided that is designed in the form of at least one channel (11) on a side, facing the receiving chamber (5), of at least one of the wall elements (3, 4). Said at least one channel (11) allows the matrix material (7) to be distributed in the receiving chamber (5) simply and quickly so as to supply the reinforcing fibres (6) with matrix material (7). The wall elements (3, 4) are shapable in order to obtain a structural component (1) that has an at least partially curved target shape. To produce a fibre-reinforced structural component (1), the structural component semi-finished product (2) is brought into a target shape, and flowable matrix material (7) is introduced into the receiving chamber (5) through a supply opening, is distributed via the at least one channel (11), and saturates the reinforcing fibres (6). The matrix material (7) subsequently cures and forms the structural component (1).
