摘要： The present invention provides a lubricating oil composition for a compression type refrigerator, containing a base oil having a kinematic viscosity of 2 to 1,000 mm 2 /s at 40°C. The base oil contains the following compounds (1) to (6) each having a molecular weight of 150 to 5,000 and a tertiary or quaternary carbon: (1) an alicyclic hydrocarbon, (2) a branched carboxylic acid ester of a polyhydric alcohol, (3) an alicyclic polycarboxylic acid ester, (4) polybutene, (5) an alkyl benzene and/or an alkyl naphthalene, and (6) a paraffinic mineral oil showing a 13 C-NMR spectrum in which an area of peaks at chemical shifts in the range of 30 to 100 ppm accounts for 5 to 40% of the entire peak area and/or a naphthenic mineral oil having a naphthene content of 30 to 70% by mass. The composition has excellent traction performance, lubricating properties and stability.

Methods for producing refrigeration and heating with the fluoroalkenes, in combination with the disclosed lubricants, are also disclosed.

摘要： An oily lubricant for mixing with the refrigerant 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane (R134a) is an ester of viscosity 2-30 mm²/s at 100 o C.
Suitable classes of esters are (1) polyesters of a polyol and straight or branched chain carboxylic acid (CA), (2) diesters of neopentyl glycol and a C6-9 CA, (3) complex esters of partial esters of an aliphatic polyhydric alcohol with C3-C9 fatty acids and aliphatic or aromatic di-CA, (4) C16-22 diallyl esters of aliphatic di-CA, (5) C18-26 diethyl esters of aromatic di-CA, and (6) diesters of an addition product of an alkylene oxide to a monohydric alcohol by an aliphatic di-CA.
The viscosity is adjusted by using mixture of esters or by adding a polymer; suitable viscosity for a refrigerator is 2-9 mm²/s and for a car air conditioner it is 7-30 mm²/s.
The ester should be purified to have a low acid number of 0.1-0.5 mg KOH (g), to prevent metal corrosion, whilst keeping high insulating property, and it is purified so as to be stable and to have no more than 500 ppm of moisture.
An anti-wear agent of the sulfur type is preferably added in amount of 0.01-5 w/t%, and other additives can be an anti-oxidant and corrosion inhibitors.
The lubricant has excellent compatibility with R134a, low hygroscopicity, high thermal stability and lubricating property.

摘要： A lubricating oil composition comprising a fluoroalkyl alcohol represented by the general formula Rf-R -OH, and a polyether compound. In the formula, R represents a C2 to C15 alkylene group and Rf represents a C5 to C16 fluoroalkyl group, provided that the total number of fluorine atoms in Rf is at least 2n-3 (where n is the total number of carbon atoms in Rf) and each carbon atom of Rf has at least one fluorine atom bonded thereto. This composition is excellent in the prevention of seizure and in the solubility in a refrigerant at high temperatures.

摘要： This invention relates to a composition comprising: (A) a major amount of a fluorine-containing hydrocarbon containing one or two carbon atoms; and (B) a minor amount of a soluble tertiary amide represented by the formula wherein a is one or two, provided that when a is one, R is a hydrocarbyl group or a hydrocarbylpolyoxyalkylene group, and when a is two, R is a hydrocarbylene group; each R2 is independently hydrogen or an alkyl group having from 1 to about 8 carbon atoms; b is one or two; X is oxygen or N-R3; R3 is a hydrocarbyl group having 1 to about 18 carbon atoms or -C(O)R4, R4 is a hydrocarbyl group or a hydrocarbylpolyoxyalkylene alkyl group. The present invention provides compositions which are useful as refrigeration liquids in refrigerators and air-conditioners including auto, home and industrial air-conditioners. The invention provides tertiary amides which are compatible with fluorine-containing hydrocarbons used in refrigerators and air conditioners. The tertiary amides act as a lubricant for air-conditioners.
