Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing nitroalkanes by reacting at least one alkane with at least one nitrating agent in the gas phase, wherein the nitration is carried out in a microstructured reaction zone having parallel channels with hydraulic diameters of less than 2.5 mm and a total specific inner surface area of more than 1600 m 2 /m 3 , and wherein the alkane and the nitrating agent are conveyed through the reaction zone in gaseous form under a pressure of 1 bar to 20 bar and reacted at a temperature of 150°C to 650°C, and the reaction products are cooled and discharged downstream of the reaction zone, and wherein the at least one nitrating agent is fed distributed over two to ten feed points along the reaction zone.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for hydrogenating organic nitriles by means of hydrogen in the presence of a catalyst in a reactor, where the shaped body catalyst is arranged in a fixed bed, wherein the shaped body in the shape of spheres or rods has in each case a diameter of 3 mm or less, in the shape of tablets a height of 4 mm or less, and in the case of all other geometries in each case has an equivalent diameter L = 1/a' of 0.70 mm or less, where a' is the external surface area per unit volume (mms 2/mmp 3), with: (I) where Ap is the external surface area of the catalyst particle (mms 2) and Vp is the volume of the catalyst particle (mmp 3). The present invention further relates to a process for preparing downstream products of isophoronediamine (IPDA) or N,N-dimethylaminopropylamine (DMAPA) from amines prepared according to the invention.
Abstract:
The invention relates to 3-aminomethyl-1-cyclohexylamine and a method for the production thereof by a) reacting cyclohexenone with hydrogen cyanide in the presence of a basic catalyst, b) reacting the cyclohexanone nitrile obtained in step a) with ammonia in the presence of an imine-forming catalyst, and c) reacting the reaction mixture that is obtained in step b) and contains 3-cyanocyclohexylimine with hydrogen and ammonia on hydrogenation catalysts. The invention further relates to the use of 3-aminomethyl-1-cyclohexylamine as a curing agent for epoxy resins, as an intermediate product when producing diisocyanates, as an initiator entity when producing polyetherols, and/or as a monomer for producing polyamides.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for dehydrogenating compounds which can be dehydrogenated, at a temperature of 150 to 400°C, in the presence of oxygen.
