Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for the heterogeneously catalyzed partial gas phase oxidation of propene into acrolein, according to which the initial reaction gas mixture is oxidized on a fixed catalyst bed that comprises at least two fixed catalyst bed zones and is accommodated in two successive temperature zones A, B, the transition of temperature zone A to temperature zone B not coinciding with a transition from one fixed catalyst bed zone to another.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing acrylic acid by means of two-stage heterogeneously catalyzed partial gas phase oxidation of propylene. According to said method, previously dehydrogenated propane is used as a propylene source while the first partial oxidation stage is operated so as to limit propylene reaction. Furthermore, unreacted propane and propylene contained in the product gas mixture of the second partial oxidation stage are largely redirected into the propane dehydrogenation process taking place upstream.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for feeding a longitudinal section of a contact pipe, having a uniform catalyst fixed bed section, the active mass of which is at least one multi-element oxide, or comprises elementary silver on an oxidic carrier body, and the geometric catalyst molded body and inert molded body of which have a specific non-uniformity of their longitudinal extensions.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a multimetallic oxide composition which comprises Mo, V and T and/or Sb elements, and at least one of Nb, Ti, Ta and Ce elements and promoters, and has a specific X-ray diffraction diagram. The use of said multimetallic oxide composition in the form of a partial oxidation catalyst in the gas phase for heterogeneous hydrocarbon catalysis is also disclosed.
Abstract:
A process for conducting an exothermic heterogeneously catalyzed partial gas phase oxidation of an organic starting compound in a tube bundle reactor cooled with a fluid heat carrier, in which an increase in the loading of the fixed catalyst bed disposed in the reaction tubes with the organic starting compound is preceded by an increase in the entrance temperature of the fluid heat carrier into the space surrounding the reaction tubes.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for carrying out in a stable manner a continuous process for continuously producing acrolein or acrylic acid or the mixture thereof from propane consisting in using a fresh propane supply flow in the form of a regulation variable for a stable and stationary operation
Abstract:
A process for long-term operation of a heterogeneously catalyzed partial gas phase oxidation of an organic starting compound, in which the reaction gas input mixture is partially oxidized over a fixed catalyst bed which is accommodated in two successive temperature zones A, B whose temperature is varied with increasing operating time such that the initially lower temperature is increased and the difference between the two temperatures is reduced.
