The present invention provides a vinyl chloride resin composition for injection molding, including relative to 100 parts by mass of a vinyl chloride resin, (a) 0.01 to 10 parts by mass of an organic acid calcium salt and/or an organic acid zinc salt, (b) 0.01 to 10 parts by mass of a hydrotalcite compound, (c) 0.01 to 10 parts by mass of a β-diketone compound, and (d) 0.01 to 10 parts by mass of a polyol mixture, wherein the polyol mixture of component (d) is a polyol mixture composed of pentaerithrytol and condensates thereof; when the degree of condensation of pentaerithritol is represented by n, the combined content of the pentaerithrytol and condensates thereof of n = 1 to 3 is 5 to 40% by mass relative to the overall amount of the polyol mixture.
Abstract:
Pressure sensitive adhesives for use primarily in medical applications are disclosed. The pressure sensitive adhesives are urethane elastomeric adhesives that include a polyurethane polymer and a compatible tackifier and/or compatible plasticizer to achieve an adhesive having a predetermined compliance. The result is a pressure sensitive adhesive for application to skin that can eventually be removed with very little trauma to the skin and with a low pain rating, but which still exhibits very good peel strength when used to construct an article in which the adhesive is adhered to human skin.
Abstract:
A first silicone resin composition is prepared by allowing an organopolysiloxane containing silanol groups at both ends containing silanol groups at both ends of a molecule and a silicon compound containing, in one molecule, at least two leaving groups leaving by a condensation reaction with the silanol groups to undergo the condensation reaction in the presence of a condensation catalyst. The silicon compound contains a trifunctional silicon compound containing, in one molecule, the three leaving groups and a bifunctional silicon compound containing, in one molecule, the two leaving groups.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a vinyl chloride resin composition that is excellent in thermal stability, coloring resistance and processability, free from heavy metal stabilizers such as lead, tin and barium, and thus is suitable for use in building materials, and specifically provides a vinyl chloride resin composition containing (a) an organic acid calcium salt and/or an organic acid zinc salt, (b) calcium acetylacetonate and/or zinc acetylacetonate, (c) a hydrotalcite compound and (d) a polyol mixture in specific contents with respect to a vinyl chloride resin, wherein a polyol mixture having a specific composition is used as the polyol mixture that is the component (d).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for the production of a halogen-free, flame-retardant polyolefin foam, a polyolefin foam obtainable by the process and a laminate using the polyolefin foam. As halogen-free flame-retardant a combination of a phosphorus compound and a 1,3,5-triazine compound is used. The produced flame-retardant polyolefin foam exhibits particular advantageous mechanical, physical and chemical properties which allow its application especially in the construction and transport sectors.
Abstract:
The present disclosure is directed to tire rubber compositions containing at least one rubbery polymer (with 10 to 100 weight percent of monomer units derived from conjugated diene monomer having between 4 and 8 carbon atoms and 0 to 90 weight percent of monomer units derived from vinyl aromatic monomer); 0.5 to 100 phr of silica filler; 0.05 to 20 phr of a bi- functional silica coupling agent; and 1 to 30 phr of a non-elastomer reactive filler reinforcing agent capable of interacting with at least two silica particles. The bi-functional silica coupling agent and the filler reinforcing agent are utilized in a weight ratio of from 1:100 to 1:0.2. Also disclosed are methods for preparing the tire rubber compositions.
