Diagnostic devices; systems, methods and computer-readable media store instructions related to determining hemoglobin information using those devices. The methods may include processing a captured image of the reservoir and/or device and the device information to determine color information for the solution and the scale, the color information including one or more color attributes; adjusting the color information for the solution based on the color information for the scale; and determining hemoglobin information (e.g., hemoglobin level, disease state and/or calculated hematocrit) based on the adjusted color information and a stored profile information associated with the device information.

This disclosure relates to methods of treating and diagnosing a tuberculosis infection as pulmonary active or latent based on biomarkers expressed on pools of CD4+ cells. In certain embodiments, the disclosure relates to methods of treatment of a subject diagnosed with tuberculosis comprising the steps of, measuring a pool of CD4 IFN-γ cells for cells that also express CD38, HLA-DR, and/or Ki-67 providing a measurement; associating an increased measurement of CD4 IFN-γ cells that also express CD38, HLA-DR, Ki-67, compared to a control, as an indication that the subject has active tuberculosis; and treating the subject with an aggressive tuberculosis treatment.

The disclosure relates to Prostaglandin receptor EP2 antagonists, derivatives, compositions, and methods related thereto. In certain embodiments, the disclosure relates to methods of treating or preventing conditions and diseases in which EP2 receptor activation has a physiological role, such as but not limited to, brain injury, inflammatory diseases, neuroinflamation after a seizure, pain, endometriosis, cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, skin inflammation, vascular inflammation, colitis, and neurological disorders by administering a pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound disclosed herein to a subject in need thereof.
摘要:
This disclosure relates to asparagine endopeptidase inhibitors and compositions and uses related thereto. In certain embodiments, the asparagine endopeptidase inhibitors are useful for treating or preventing neurodegenerative diseases and cognitive disorders such as Alzheimer's Disease. In certain embodiments, the disclosure relates to pharmaceutical compositions comprising an asparagine endopeptidase inhibitor and a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient. In certain embodiments, the disclosure relates to methods of treating or preventing a neurodegenerative disease comprising administering an effective amount of pharmaceutical composition a asparagine endopeptidase inhibitor disclosed herein to a subject in need thereof.
摘要:
This disclosure relates to recombinant cellular expression of chimeric proteins with peptide sequences derived from lymphocyte receptors and uses for treating cancer. In certain embodiments, the disclosure relates to a recombinant vector comprising a nucleic acid that encodes a chimeric protein with a segment with a targeting moiety based on a variable lymphocyte receptor (VLR) capable of binding a tumor associated antigen and a segment with a T cell signal transduction subunit. In certain embodiments, the recombinant vectors are used in immune based cancer treatments.
摘要:
This disclosure relates to nucleotide and nucleoside therapeutic compositions and uses in treating infectious diseases, viral infections, and cancer, where the base of the nucleotide or nucleoside contains at least one thiol, thione or thioether.
摘要:
Methods, systems, and computer readable storage media relate to processing and analyzing a sample to determine presence or concentration of at least one sensor target in a sample. A method of quantifying a sample using a sensor may include obtaining sensor data, the sensor data including in-situ calibration data from a housekeeping protein; analyzing the sensor data; and outputting results of the analyzing. The method may be used with a system that includes a sensing device and a module. The system may also include an analysis device that can be in communication with the sensing device.
摘要:
The composition of the invention, liposomal glutathione, has been recently shown to have utility for having an antibiotic like effect on Klebsiella pneumonia cultures in vitro, and in vivo as demonstrated by efficacy in reducing by large multiples the presence of cultures of Klebsiella in rats in animal tests. Further, because the liposomal glutathione bolsters body defenses as well as appearing to have direct killing action, the propensity to create more and more resistant strains to antibiotic treatment is downgraded.
