The invention relates to a method for marking a substrate with a unique library of nucleic acid sequence tags comprising: providing a library of nucleic acid sequence tags, comprising at least two different groups of nucleic acid sequence tags that each comprise a plurality of nucleic acid sequence tags, wherein each of said nucleic acid sequence tags comprises a defined nucleic acid motif in at least a first and a second characteristic position, and wherein outside of said at least two characteristic positions each nucleic acid sequence tag comprises a random nucleic acid sequence, wherein the combination of the nucleic acid motifs of the at least first characteristic position and the at least second characteristic position of a nucleic acid sequence tag is characteristic and unique for the group of said nucleic acid sequence tag, and marking the substrate with the unique nucleic acid library by applying the nucleic acid sequence tag library to the substrate. The invention further relates to a packaging article comprising a substrate marked according to the method of the present invention and different kits for applying and validating a substrate tagged according to the present invention.

Described is a method for generating a multiple-gene assembly in a single DNA construct, a kit and a single DNA construct generated by the method. Different assembly methods are known in the state of the art but user has to decide between scar free, sequence independent methods, which require the time consuming individual design of every assembly and modular approaches, which generate scar sequences and require laborious parts domestication. In order to overcome these drawbacks a method for generating a multiple-gene assembly in a single DNA construct is provided that contains freely designed scar-free level 0 assembly units in a predefined order, determined by flanking homology regions and which is sequence-independent.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Identifizierung von Mikroorganismen umfassend: a) einen Träger 1, wobei auf dem Träger 1 ein saugfähiges Material 2 angeordnet ist, b) mindestens eine abdichtende Zwischenschicht 3, welche mindestens eine Aussparung 4 aufweist, welche zur Aufnahme zu identifizierender Mikroorganismen, die auf einem Mikroporenfilter 5 vorhanden sind, ausgestaltet ist, c) mindestens ein Reaktionsfließ 6 bestehend aus einem saugfähigen Material 2, auf dem mindestens ein Absorptionsfeld 7 und/oder mindestens eine flüssigkeitführende Struktur 8 zur Aufnahme von Reagenzien zur Identifizierung der Mikroorganismen angeordnet ist, und d) eine Deckplatte 9. Weiterhin betrifft die vorliegende Erfindung ein Verfahren zur Identifizierung von Mikroorganismen unter Verwendung der erfindungsgemäßen Vorrichtung. Durch die vorliegende Erfindung können Mikroorganismen in einer Probe sehr schnell, innerhalb von wenigen Minuten, identifiziert werden. Dabei ist das Testsystem von der Umwelt isoliert, wodurch eine Gefährdung von Mensch und Umwelt bei einem positiven Testbefund vermieden wird.

The present invention relates to p-conjugated fluoroionophores, methods for their preparation, and their use and a method for determining an alkali ion. Fluoroionophoric compounds of the general formula I are described Ionophore - p-Linker - Fluorophore (I) wherein the Ionophore is an anilino containing crown ether or cryptand with one or more anilino donor moieties as electron donors, forming a stable complex with an alkali metal ion the p-Linker is an aromatic or heteroaromatic conjugative linking moiety, and the Fluorophore is an electron acceptor moiety. Variation of the ionophoric unit offers a broad spectrum of detectable K+ and Na+ -concentrations, ranging from high concentration around 800 mM down to very low concentrations around 3 mM. The fluoroionophores have great potential for application in fluorescent optode system based blood analyzing equipment for methods and kits for the determination of K+ and Na+ concentrations in biological systems, either in vitro or in vivo, using embodiments of the disclosed fluoroionophores.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von gamma-Spirolactamen aus zyklischen Carbonsäuren, bevorzugt aus aromatischen Carbonsäuren. Die Verbindungen eignen sich bevorzugt als wertvolle Zwischenprodukte zur Herstellung von Peptidomimetika. Die Erfindung betrifft auch die Verwendung des Verfahrens zur Herstellung entsprechender Peptidomimetika.
