The base layer may include up to 50 weight percent inorganic non-combustible filler. The sheet has a reduced heat of combustion or reduced flammability relative to currently available decorative sheets.

摘要： This disclosure relates to flame retardants that are useful for epoxy resin systems. Coating compositions and methods are provided the include an epoxy resin and a phosphate-containing flame retardant wherein the phosphate-containing flame retardant is selected from Group 1 metallic salts of a phosphate of a saccharide, Group 2 salts of a glycerophosphate, and Group 1 metallic salts of a polyphosphate. The provided flame retardants have low toxicity and are friendly to the environment.

摘要： A cable includes a plurality of conductor sets. Each conductor set extending along a length of the cable and includes two or more insulated conductors, each insulated conductor including a central conductor surrounded by a dielectric material that includes polyolefin, a brominated flame retardant, and antimony trioxide. First and second conductive shielding films are disposed on opposite first and second sides of the conductor set, including cover portions and pinched portions arranged such that, in transverse cross section, the cover portions of the first and second shielding films in combination substantially surround the conductor set, and the pinched portions of the first and second shielding films in combination form pinched portions of the conductor set on each side of the conductor set. The cable includes an adhesive layer bonding the first shielding film to the second shielding film in the pinched portions of the conductor set.

摘要： The present invention provides a flame retardant encapsulant composition. A composition includes 40-80 wt. % of an encapsulant comprising 60 to 80 parts by weight of hydrocarbon oil suspended in a cross-linked polymer matrix; and a liquid flame retardant. At least a portion of the liquid flame retardant can be present in the form of a dispersed liquid phase suspended in a continuous oil-rich phase that swells the cross- linked polymer matrix. In some exemplary embodiments, the oil-rich phase comprises less than 15% of the liquid flame retardant dissolved in the oil-rich phase.
