Abstract:
Method for dissolving deposits containing alkaline earth metal sulphates in subterranean systems or system parts for obtaining petroleum, natural gas and/or water, in which method the deposits are treated with an aqueous formulation containing methanesulphonic acid.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for breaking down ethanol into C 1 units in a prereformer. According to said method, ethanol and water vapor are reacted on a catalyst comprising platinum on a carrier containing a mixture of ZrO 2 and CeO 2 at a temperature in the range of 300 to 550°C.
Abstract:
Carbon monoxide is removed from material streams by adsorption to an adsorption composition containing oxides of copper, zinc and zirconium, the copper-containing fraction of which has a degree of reduction, expressed as weight ratio of metallic copper to the sum of metallic copper and copper oxides, calculated as CuO, of at least 45%, and at most 75%.
Abstract:
A process for the regeneration of a copper-, zinc- and zirconium oxide-comprising adsorption composition after use thereof for the adsorptive removal of carbon monoxide from substance streams comprising carbon monoxide and at least one olefin, in which the adsorption composition is heated to a temperature in the range from 160 to 400 °C and a regeneration gas is passed through the adsorption composition, wherein the regeneration gas comprises 1000 to 3000 ppm of oxygen in an inert carrier gas.

Abstract:
The invention relates to porous organometallic framework materials containing at least one at least ambident organic compound L which is coordinatively bound to at least one metal ion M and is provided with at least one functional group G that binds non-coordinatively to M and is selected among the group comprising -SO3H, -PO3H2, and the analogues thereof. The invention further relates to method for the production thereof and the use thereof.
Abstract:
Unsaturated hydrocarbons are hydrogenated in the presence of catalysts containing copper and zinc, the active mass of which, in unreduced form, essentially consists of 10 to 95% by weight copper oxide, calculated as copper(ll) oxide (CuO), 5 to 90% by weight zinc oxide (ZnO), optionally 0.1 to 50% by weight zirconium dioxide (ZrO2) and also optionally 0.1% by weight to 50% by weight AI2O3, wherein the weight fractions total 100% by weight.
Abstract:
According to the invention, carbon monoxide is eliminated from streams of substances by adsorption on an adsorption mass that contains copper oxide and zircon oxide, but no zinc oxide. Said adsorption mass is characterised in that it contains between 70 and 99.8 % by weight of copper oxide and between 0.2 and 30 % by weight of zinc oxide, in relation to the total amount of adsorption mass.
