A method for controlling the closing movement of a chassis component closed by hand, for example a door, is disclosed for reducing the strain on closing said door. On the closing movement, starting from an opened position, the chassis component runs through a first set region in which the chassis component moves towards a closed position without action from a control body, then subsequent to the first region the chassis component runs through a second set region in which the closing movement of the chassis component is changed by action of the control body such that the residual kinetic energy of the chassis component does not exceed a threshold value after running through the second set region, independent of the initial speed. The residual kinetic energy is not sufficient for an independent closure of the chassis component. Therefore, the chassis component is automatically drawn in in a third set region subsequent to the second set region until a pre or main catch of a lock is reached. The invention further relates to a corresponding control device.

The invention relates to an adjustable carrier for connecting a window pane to a window lift of a motor vehicle door, whereby the carrier is assigned to the motor vehicle door via guiding tracks. The carrier is essentially comprised of a base body and of a holding body. The base body is guided on the guiding tracks of the window lift, and the window pane is clamped in the holding body. The holding body can horizontally sweep in relation to the base body, and a joint connection is provided between the base body and the holding body. According to the invention, adjusting means (511) which can be operated by a tool (510) are provided for changing the position of the holding body (2.5) relative to the base body (1.5). This position is directly or indirectly changed by the actuation of the adjusting means in such a way that the position of the holding body relative to the base body remains unchanged when loosening the fastening the window pane.

The invention also relates to a method for operating a drive device. Therefore, the invention provides a drive device and a method for operating a drive device, with which the operating behaviour of the drive device is improved in terms of the acoustics, the electromagnetic radiation, the heating and the power output of the drive device.
