摘要:
A polysaccharide/magnetic metal oxide composite comprising a polysaccharide derivative prepared by carboxylalkyl-etherification or unsubstituted or substituted aminoalkyl-etherification (wherein the carboxyl group and/or the amino group may be in salt form) of a polysaccharide. The composite has slow blood clearance and low toxicity and is useful as a contrast medium for nuclear magnetic resonance imaging.
摘要:
A composite having a small particle diameter and composed of a water-soluble carboxypolysaccharide and a magnetic iron oxide having a core diameter ranging from about 2 to about 7 nm, wherein the overall diameter ranges from about 10 to about 50 nm, the ratio of the overall diameter to the core diameter is about 15 or less, and the T2 relaxation capacity ranges from about 10 to about 150 (mM.sec)-1. The composite is reduced in toxicity and side effects and is useful as iron preparation, X-ray contrast medium, MRI contrast medium, reagent for blood stream measurement, drug carrier, and so forth in the fields of medicine, biology and engineering.
摘要:
An oxidized composite comprising a water-soluble carboxypolysaccharide and ultrafine magnetic iron oxide particles. It has an extremely reduces toxicity and an excellent stability, exhibits scarcely any or no hypotensive activity even if directly administered into the blood vessel of an animal, is reduced in the activity of platelet agglutination, and is useful in the medical field as, for example, a contrast medium for MRI and a pyrogenic agent for thermotherapy.
摘要:
A dextran-containing composition for promoting bacterial proliferation which aims at selectively proliferating L. casei subsp. casei. By using this composition, L. casei subsp. casei can be selectively proliferated and fixed in the intestines of human or animals without taking L. casei subsp. casei as needed. It is also possible thereby to selectively grow and proliferate indigenous L. casei subsp. casei in the intestine. Thus, various biological activities of L. casei subsp. casei can be sustained in vivo.
