    (B) 99 to 1 % by weight of a polystyrene resin obtained by copolymerisation of a styrene compound, 100 to 500 ppm by weight of a compound containing a plurality of vinyl groups, and if necessary, a compound copolymerisable with the styrene compound, and/or a polystyrene resin obtained by copolymerisation of a styrene compound, 100 to 500 ppm by weight of a compound containing a plurality of vinyl groups, a rubber, and if necessary, a compound copolymerisable with the styrene compound, and having a weight average molecular weight of 150 thousand to 1 million and a number of branching points in a Z-average molecular weight of 2 to 20, and
    (C) 0 to 100 parts by weight of a rubber per 100 parts by weight of the total amount of (A) and (B) [wherein, when (B) contains a rubber, said weight of (B) is the weight excluding the weight of said rubber].

    According to the present invention, the thermoplastic resin composition having an excellent flowability and an excellent appearance of a molded article obtained can be provided.

    (a) a resin composition consisting of

    (1) at least one polypropylene resin (E) selected from the group consisting of

    (2) a saturated polyester resin (F)

    (b) an epoxy group-containing copolymer (G), and

    (ii) a modified rubbery substance (I), and
    (iii) a mixture of the rubbery substance (H) and the modified rubbery substance (I),

       the content of the saturated polyester resin (F) in the thermoplastic resin composition being not more than 50% by weight; or

    (a) either a graft resin composition (J) obtained by graft polymerizing an unsaturated carboxylic acid or
    a derivative thereof onto a mixture of a polypropylene (C) and a rubbery substance (H), or
    a graft resin composition (K) obtained by graft polymerizing an unsaturated carboxylic acid or
    a derivative thereof and an unsaturated aromatic monomer onto a mixture of a polypropylene (C) and
    a rubbery substance (H),
    (b) a saturated polyester resin (F),
    (c) an epoxy group-containing copolymer (G), and
    (d) a polypropylene (C);
       which thermoplastic resin composition is suitably used in the fields where high level of heat resistance, impact resistance, and especially low-temperature impact resistance are required.

    摘要: The thermoplastic resin composition disclosed herein comprises:

    (1) a resin composition (F) consisting of

    (i) at least one member selected from the group consisting of

    (a) a modified polypropylene to which has been graft copolymerized an unsaturated carboxylic acid or the derivative thereof,
    (b) a modified polypropylene to which have been graft comodified an unsaturated aromatic monomer and either an unsaturated carboxylic acid or the derivative thereof,
    (c) a mixture of the modified polypropylene (a) and a polypropylene,
    (d) a mixture of the modified polypropylene (b) and a polypropylene,
    (e) a modified mixture of a polypropylene and a rubbery substance to which mixture has been graft copolymerized an unsaturated carboxylic acid or the derivative thereof,
    (f) a modified mixture of a polypropylene and a rubbery substance to which mixture have been graft copolymerized an unsaturated aromatic monomer and either an unsaturated carboxylic acid or the derivative thereof,
    (g) a mixture of the modified mixture (e) and a polypropylene, and
    (h) a mixture of the modified mixture (f) and a polypropylene, and

    (ii) a thermoplastic copolymer (E) containing acid anhydride moiety of six-membered ring, and

    (2) an epoxy group-containing copolymer (G).

    The thermoplastic resin composition according to the present invention not only exhibits excellent processability but also produces remarkable advantages in that it gives far better physical properties than those expected from each polymer which constitutes the thermoplastic resin composition of the present invention.
    The novel resin composition provided by the present invention can be easily processed into molded articles, films and sheets by a molding method generally used for thermoplastic resins such as injection molding, extrusion molding, etc, and can give products which have well-balanced properties among stiffness, heat resistance, impact resistance, scratch resistance, coatability, oil resistance, chemical resistance, water resistance, etc., and which are excellent in appearance uniformity and smoothness. The thermoplastic resin composition of the present invention is particularly suitable for use where well-balanced properties among heat resistance and impact resistance, low-temperature impact resistance in particular, are required.

    (D) 0.1-5 parts by weight of an unsaturated aromatic compound and

    the molar ratio of (C)/(D) ranging from 1/0.1 inclusive to 1/1 exclusive.

    According to the present invention, there is provided a modified polyolefin resin having the follow­ing merits:

    (1) The amount of bound unsaturated carboxylic acid, a derivative thereof or unsaturated epoxy compound is high.
    (2) The change of the melt flow rate during the modification is small.
    (3) The physical properties are of high grade.
    (4) The coating affinity with urethane coatings and resistance to falling off of the coating layer are excellent.

    The modified polyolefin resin of the present invention can be used for adhesives, covering materials, binders, laminate bonding agent and polymer alloy constituents.
