摘要: An operating mode of a charging/supplying system in which a vehicle is connected with a first external device or a second external device via a connecting portion used in common in a charging mode in which an electric storage device installed on the vehicle is charged with electric power from the first external device and a supplying mode in which electric power is supplied from the vehicle to the second external device, and which is operable in a selected one of the charging mode and the supplying mode, is identified. More specifically, a plurality of detection values are detected from at least one electric connection channel provided between the vehicle and the first external device or the second external device via the connecting portion, and it is determined whether the operating mode of the charging/supplying system is the charging mode or the supplying mode, based on a combination of the plurality of detection values.

摘要: A voltage detector for detecting a voltage generated in a second resonant coil (110; 240) that is disposed to face a first resonant coil (240; 110) and that performs at least one of electric power transmission and electric power reception to and from the first resonant coil (240; 110) in a contactless manner by means of electromagnetic resonance includes: a first high-impedance element (510) having one end connected to one end of the second resonant coil (110; 240); a second high-impedance element (520) having one end connected to the other end of the second resonant coil (110; 240); a low-impedance element (550) connected between the other end of the first high-impedance element (510) and the other end of the second high-impedance element (520) and having an impedance smaller than each of those of the first and second high-impedance elements (510, 520); and an output terminal (560) for outputting a signal associated with a voltage applied across the low-impedance element (550). In this way, in the contactless power supply system employing the resonance method, the malfunction in the resonant coil is detected while suppressing an influence over the resonance state between the resonant coils and suppressing increase of cost.

摘要: In a contactless power feeding system (10) using a resonance method, an electric power receiving apparatus (110) or an electric power transmitting apparatus (200) is connected to a self-resonant coil (112, 224) and includes a capacitor (116, 280A) having a variable capacitance. When electromagnetic resonance occurs at a prescribed frequency determined by the electric power transmitting apparatus (200), the capacitance of the capacitor (116, 280A) is adjusted so as to maximize the electric power transmission efficiency during electric power feeding. Accordingly, deterioration in transmission efficiency can be suppressed even when the distance between the secondary self-resonant coil (112) included in the electric power receiving apparatus (110) and the primary self-resonant coil (224) included in the electric power transmitting apparatus (200) changes from a reference distance at the time of design.
