摘要: Methods and devices for tissue remodeling and repair of collagenous tissues, including tendons, ligaments, and bone, as well as scalable connective tissue manufacturing, are provided. Collagen fibers are assembled by extensional strain-induced flow crystallization of collagen monomers. Extensional strain also drives the fusion of already formed short collagen fibrils to produce long-range, continuous fibers. Wearable devices for controlled tissue remodeling and wound healing deliver a tissue remodeling solution to a tissue repair site. The remodeling solution, together with appropriate application of strain to the tissue remodeling site, accelerate healing, prevent injury, and reduce scar formation.

摘要: The present application discloses a reinforced electrospun fibrous membrane and a preparation method thereof. The reinforced electrospun fibrous membrane comprises: an electrospun fibrous membrane body and a plurality of parallel reinforcing thread sets fixed to the electrospun fibrous membrane body via through holes thereon, wherein each of the reinforcing thread sets comprises a starting end and a terminal end, both being connected to an edge of the electrospun fibrous membrane body; each of the reinforcing thread sets comprises at least one reinforcing fibrous thread comprising a main thread and an auxiliary thread respectively arranged at a front side and a bottom side of the electrospun fibrous membrane body and configured to interlace each other at the through hole. By providing reinforcing thread sets on the electrospun fibrous membrane body to impart the electrospun fibrous membrane with a greater mechanical property, the mechanical strength required for the movement of the tissue is ensured, and the electrospun fibrous membrane is easy to be folded or rolled into other shapes. The electrospun fibrous membrane body may be made of degradable materials, which are gradually degraded and absorbed in the process of inducing new tissue formation, thereby providing space for the formation of new tissues.

摘要: Described herein are nanofibers and methods for making nanofibers that have a plurality of pores. The pores have of any suitable size or shape. In some embodiments the pores are “mesopores”, having a diameter between 2 and 50 nm. In some embodiments, the pores are “ordered”, meaning that they have a substantially uniform shape, a substantially uniform size and/or are distributed substantially uniformly through the nanofiber. Ordering of the pores results in a high surface area and/or high specific surface area. Ordered pores, without limitation, result in a nanofiber that is substantially flexible and/or non-brittle. The nanofibers and methods for making nanofibers may be used, without limitation, in batteries, capacitors, electrodes, solar cells, catalysts, adsorbers, filters, membranes, sensors, fabrics and/or tissue regeneration matrixes.
