摘要: An hydraulic valve (10) has a body (20) with a longitudinal bore therein. An annular recess (29,30,31) is formed within the longitudinal bore (21) and has a circumferential surface (27) through which a fluid port (28,30,32) opens. A filter band (82), with a plurality of apertures (84) there through, is located within the annular recess (29,30,31) abutting the circumferential surface (27). A helical spring (90) has spaced apart convolutions (92,94,96) that engage the filter band (82) and exert an outward radial force which holds the filter band (82) against the circumferential surface (27) of the bore recess (29,30,31). A valve element, such as a spool (44), is slideably received within the longitudinal bore (21) to control flow of fluid through the fluid port (28,30,32).

摘要: Provided is an internal combustion engine including two intake valves for each cylinder, the internal combustion engine including: a fixed cam for driving one of the two intake valves with a lift characteristic having a valve opening timing close to a top dead center; a variable valve actuation mechanism capable of changing, in accordance with an engine running condition, lift characteristics between a low-lift characteristic having an event angle and a lift amount each being smaller than an event angle and a lift amount of the fixed cam, and a high-lift characteristic having the event angle and the lift amount each being larger than the event angle and the lift amount of the fixed cam; and a variable cam for driving another of the two intake valves, the variable cam including the variable valve actuation mechanism, in which the variable valve actuation mechanism is configured to set the lift characteristic of the variable cam so as to obtain a valve opening timing on a retard side relative to the valve opening timing of the fixed cam in a case of the low-lift characteristic.

摘要: A variable valve mechanism of an internal combustion engine includes a camshaft having a general shaft part and a cam part arranged next to each other in an axial direction, an input arm that swings when pressed by the cam part, an output arm that is swingably mounted and that drives a valve when swinging, and a switch device that switches the variable valve mechanism between a coupled state where the input arm and the output arm are coupled to swing together and an uncoupled state. The output arm has a great height so that clearance between the output arm and the general shaft part is 3 mm or less when the variable valve mechanism is in the coupled state and the valve is closed. If the output arm bounces in the uncoupled state, the output arm comes into contact with the general shaft part through the clearance.
