Bevorzugt ist zusätzlich eine Antriebselektronik (19) an der Halteplatte (8) befestigt, insbesondere in diese integriert, und zwar so, dass elektrische Anschlüsse (20) außen am Gesamtgehäuse (16) vorhanden sind. Außerdem weist der Schrittmotor (4) bevorzugt eine Rotorachse (5) auf, welche parallel zur Halteplatte (8) angeordnet ist. Beim Zusammenbau sind nur wenige Schritte erforderlich. Eine zu einem anzutreibenden Gerät (2) gehörende Zahnstange (3) kann in eine seitliche Öffnung (17) des Gesamtgehäuses (16) geschoben und das anzutreibende Gerät (2) mit dem Gesamtgehäuse (16) verbunden werden. Besondere Vorteile entfaltet die Erfindung bei nahe aneinander liegenden anzutreibenden Geräten (2), insbesondere Hydraulikventilen. Der erfindungsgemäße Linearantrieb (1) lässt sich sehr kompakt herstellen, beispielsweise mit einer Höhe (H) kleiner 50 mm, einer Breite (B) kleiner 150 mm und einer Länge (L) kleiner 150 mm.
