A combined type computer numerical control processing machine, comprising at least one cutting tool head, a laser cladding tool head, a laser surface heat treatment tool head and a computer numerical control unit, and all the tool heads can be alternately arranged on a tool chuck of the processing machine. A user can complete the cutting and laser cladding and/or laser surface heat treatment of a workpiece at a time by using a single tool machine, and the workpiece does not need to be moved in different machine tools, thereby simplifying processing steps, and shortening the processing time. Also provided is a processing method using the combined type computer numerical control processing machine.

In the controller of a machining center in accordance with the present invention, a plurality of heads or cutters are connected to control shafts of a plurality of control systems, respectively, and are controlled independently by individual programs. The controller includes instruction means for giving a stand-by instruction or stand-by release instruction to the control systems in synchronism with one another and timing setting means for setting a timing of a stand-by instruction or a stand-by release instruction for which synchronization is established between the systems by the instruction means so that a timing of stand-by or stand-by release set for the program of one particular system determines a timing of stand-by control by the program of another particular system. Accordingly, a stand-by system and a system to be released from a stand-by state can be designated arbitrarily and control of a machine tool can be made efficiently.

Es wird ein Verfahren zum Spannen und Positionieren von feinwerktechnischen Präzisionsteilen (1) beschrieben, das ohne manuelles Ausrichten bzw. Anreissen der Teile vor der Fertigung arbeitet. Die Teile werden lediglich jeweils auf Paletten (2) fixiert. Anschliessend wird auf einer Mehrkoordinatenmessmaschine (4) die Position der Teile relativ zu der sie tragenden Palette bestimmt. Die numerisch gesteuerte Bearbeitungsmaschine (3) besitzt eine Palettenaufnahme (5), die um drei Achsen drehbar bzw. schwenkbar ist. Die Verschwenkung der Palettenaufnahme erfolgt rechnergesteuert derart, dass die Verkantung des Werkstückes auf der Palette gerade kompensiert wird. Dazu ist das Steuerteil (7) der Bearbeitungsmaschine, das neben den translatorischen Maschinenachsen auch die Schwenkachsen der Palettenaufnahme steuert, mit dem Rechner (14) der Mehrkoordinatenmessmaschine verbunden. Bei der Vermessung des Werkstücks nach der Bearbeitung werden durch einen Vergleich mit Solimassen Abweichungen erkannt, die nach einem vorgegebenen Programm Fehlfunktionen der Bearbeitungsmaschine zugeordnet werden. Durch ein weiteres Programm wird über die Behebung der Fehlfunktionen und die Nachbearbeitung der Teile entschieden.

Automatic tool changers for machine tools having spindle mechanisms which can be driven selectively in opposite directions along the spindle have previously relied on sensing switches to detect spindle mechanism position and to control a spindle mechanism drive. The use of sensing switches has caused problems in attaining smooth control and in reliability. This invention uses a position signal generator (31) arranged to provide position signals whenever a rotary spindle mechanism drive (8, 9) rotates, and an arrangement for computing (fig. 8) the position of the spindle mechanism (7) on the basis of the position signals and for varying the speed of the spindle mechanism in dependence upon the computed position. No sensing switches need be used. This invention can be used in an automatic tool changer for a vertical machining center.

A manufacturing system of the present invention comprises NC machine tools 2 1 -2 n each for processing a work in accordance with a process program having a process condition; a measuring device 3 for measuring the work processed by the NC machine tools 2 1 -2 n ; and computers 5, 8 1 -8 n for modifying the process condition of the process program on the basis of a measured result from the measuring device 3. The computer 5 produces a correction data file for modifying the process condition on the basis of the measured result from the measuring device 3. The correction data file is a file that contains correction values for each of processed parts stored in variables capable of being referred directly or indirectly from the process program. The correction data file is transferred to the NC controllers 9 1 -9 n prior to the NC machine tools 2 1 -2 n processing the work. The NC controllers 9 1 -9 n modify the process condition by the process program with reference to the correction values stored in the variables of the transferred correction data file.
