摘要: An amplifier and a radiation detector are provided, in which an input capacitance for an amplifying circuit is reduced by improving the arrangement of components. In a preamplifier (amplifier) 1 for the radiation detector, an interconnection layer 51 connected to the bonding pad 42 forms one electrode of a feedback capacitor 13. Since there is no wiring for connecting the bonding pad 42 and capacitor 13, a parasitic capacitance caused by the wiring will not be generated. Moreover, the capacitor 13 is arranged below the bonding pad 42 with a conductive layer 52 serving as the other electrode, so that the feedback capacitance of the capacitor 13 is included in the parasitic capacitance between the interconnection layer 51 and the substrate 61. Compared to the conventional case, an amount of capacitance corresponding to the parasitic capacitance caused by wiring and the feedback capacitance for the capacitor 13 is reduced from the input capacitance. Thus, the input capacitance for the amplifying circuit is reduced.

摘要: A MEMS sensor (1) comprises a MEMS transducer (10) being coupled to a MEMS interface circuit (20). The MEMS interface circuit (20) comprises a bias voltage generator (100), a differential amplifier (200), a capacitor (300) and a feedback control circuit (400). The bias voltage generator (100) generates a bias voltage (Vbias) for operating the MEMS transducer. The variable capacitor (300) is connected to one of the input nodes (1200a) of the differential amplifier (200). At least one of the output nodes (A200a, A200b) of the differential amplifier is coupled to a base terminal (T110) of an output filter (110) of the bias voltage generator (100). Any disturbing signal from the bias voltage generator (100) is a common-mode signal that is divided equally on the input nodes (1200a, 1200b) of the differential amplifier (200) and is therefore rejected.

摘要: A low dissipation, low distortion amplifier includes a driver amplifier stage and a main output stage, with a plurality of impedance networks providing, among other things, feedback paths from outputs of the driver and main output stages to the input of the driver stage. The impedance networks also provide coupling paths from the outputs of the driver and main output stages to the load. The impedance networks can all be formed of resistors, capacitors, or network combinations thereof. An additional feedback path can be added from the load to the driver stage to flatten out the frequency response at low frequencies. The driver and main output stages may be operated in Class AB and B modes respectively, and/or in Class G or H modes. An intermediate amplifier driver stage may be added between the driver and main output stages.

摘要: Methods and systems for a differential correlated double sampling (CDS) switched capacitor integrator circuit. The circuit includes a differential amplifier that has a differential input and a differential output. There is a first feedback path between the negative output node and the positive input node, and a second feedback path between the positive output node and the negative input node. Each feedback path includes an integration capacitor and at least one switch that has a parasitic capacitance. A first capacitive element is coupled between the negative input node and the negative output node, and a second capacitive element is coupled between the positive input node and the positive output node. Each capacitive element is configured to cancel the parasitic capacitance of its corresponding feedback path.

摘要: An amplifier circuitry having adjustable parameters is presented. The present amplifier circuitry includes a feed-back loop, wherein the feedback loop converts (26) a signal to another frequency, filters (20) the signal in the other frequency, and restores (24) the filtered signal back to the original frequency for inputting the signal to an input of the amplifier (22). The feed-back loop implements a band-stop filter (20) having an adjustable stopband causing the amplifier circuitry to have an adjustable band-pass response. A passband of the amplifier circuitry is changed from one operating frequency to another operating frequency by changing frequency conversion parameters of the feedback loop.
